10 Tales From The Loop (2020)

One Redditor suggested that fans of Black Mirror “check out Tales From The Loop” as an anthology TV series that is worth watching.

While there are confusing moments in Tales From The Loop, the series is fascinating and hard to stop watching. The show is about a group of people who live in an Ohio town who realize that “The Loop,” the Mercer Center for Experimental Physics, allows strange things to happen. It’s easy to get invested in the characters and there are also some sad and moving storylines.

9 Fargo (2014-Present)

Reddit user clarabarson recommends the TV adaptation of the movie Fargo and wrote, “it has black humour too, and all sorts of fascinating characters.”

6 American Vandal (2017-2018)

American Vandal only has two seasons on Netflix, but the anthology series takes a humorous look at the way that people discuss the genre of true crime. Season 1 follows high schoolers looking into someone who vandalized the school, and season 2 follows teenagers who drink lemonade that had laxatives in them.

Reddit user tayryanw said that this show “reshaped how I view true crime and was unlike any parody I had ever seen.” The show is a mockumentary and does a great job poking fun at how these types of stories are typically told.

5 Modern Love (2019-Present)

Netflix’s Easy has great episodes and takes a look at couples in Chicago who are handling the ups and downs that everyone deals with.

Reddit user gloomferrett said that Easy is their favorite and wrote, “There are a couple of continuing stories, but it’s not essential to remember anything between them to enjoy them.” While it’s an anthology and each episode follows different pairs, Kyle and Andi are a married couple who are featured in many episodes, whether they’re going to therapy or wondering if a study about sex will help them in the bedroom.

3 Love Death And Robots (2019-Present)

There are two seasons so far and each episode is 12, 13 or 17 minutes, making it a perfect anthology series to binge watch. It’s entertaining seeing the robots fare in a city after the apocalypse and fans of science fiction will be particularly interested.

2 Inside No. 9 (2014-Present)

Reddit user awesam26 recommends the British anthology series Inside No. 9 and described it as, “a roller-coaster of emotions in those 30 minutes.” The fan added that after watching each episode, fans will be “left thinking about the whole episode, story, the characters and mainly the twist at the end.”

Thanks to the fun plot twists in Inside No. 9 and the fact that there are four seasons of only six episodes each means that this is definitely a great bet for binge-watching. The stories vary, from a wedding photographer at a crisis to a father finding a shoe and trying to locate the person who it belongs to.

1 Soulmates (2020)

Also perfect for science fiction lovers, Soulmates is about Soul Connex who says that they can figure out who is supposed to fall in love. In the first episode, married couple Franklin and Nikki take the test, which of course creates a lot of drama and intrigue. In the fourth episode, Miguel and Mateo are matches, but Miguel and Jacob are interested in each other.
