Gal Gadot is an extremely talented actress that has played a wide range of characters in an abundance of movies. From her big-screen debut as the iconic Gisele in 2009’s Fast & Furious to her most recent role as The Bishop in Red Notice, Gadot can be a villain or hero.

In just over a decade, Gadot has made herself into a household name. Gadot is set to star as the Evil Queen in Disney’s Snow White, Cleopatra in Cleopatra, Wonder Woman in the third Wonder Woman film, and Linnet Ridgeway in murder-mystery Death On The Nile which comes to theaters on February 11. While it could and likely will change following the release of these films, these are rated as the best Gadot movies according to IMDb.

10 Knight And Day (2010) – 6.3

In Knight and Day considered one of Gadot’s best movies according to Metacritic, Gadot plays the villainous accomplice, Naomi. In this action-comedy, Gadot’s character is the henchman for the main antagonist, Antonio Quintana. Quintana and Naomi threaten and torment the film’s heroes, Roy Miller and June Havens played by Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.

Knight And Day marked Gadot’s third movie role of her career in 2010. While it had a stacked cast of herself, Cruise, Diaz, Viola Davis, and Paul Dano, the film was a box office flop. That aside, it was a big role for Gadot early in her career and the film is full of unexpected twists and turns that make it enjoyable to watch.

9 Red Notice (2021) – 6.3

Gal Gadot mostly plays the hero, but she can sure play an incredible villain. In Netflix’s 2021 hit action-comedy Red Notice, Gadot stars as the central antagonist, The Bishop. The Bishop is a kick-ass master of deception and theft with a wide range of talents. Her one goal, find all three of Cleopatra’s eggs.

The Bishop is one of the bravest and most likable characters in Red Notice. She has charm, skills, and witty dialogue that helps drive the movie. The film also features the talented Dwayne Johnson from Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle and Ryan Reynolds from Deadpool. With the tag-team of Johnson-Reynolds going against a powerful woman in The Bishop, this film is immediately a must-watch.

8 Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice (2016) – 6.4

Before she had her own character’s film, Gal Gadot starred as the legendary DC Comics hero Wonder Woman in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. The film adapted from the storyline of Batman and Superman’s debate over what is just and right. In the middle of their feud to provide balance is Wonder Woman.

While the film was a bit of a letdown at the box office and for many fans, it has become a cult classic over time. It features a creative plotline that includes fan-favorite characters like Lex Luthor, Wonder Woman, and Alfred Pennyworth. Although Gadot is not the main character, this film features her in a way similar to that of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War. For Holland and Gadot, it worked wonders for their superhero characters.

7 Fast & Furious (2009) – 6.6

Of all the Fast & Furious films that Gadot has appeared in, 2009’s Fast & Furious is ranked the lowest. Gadot has starred in four of the nine released movies in the franchise. Fast & Furious was her debut in the franchise as one of the best characters introduced after the first Fast film, Gisele Yashar.

In Fast & Furious, Paul Walker’s FBI agent Brian O’Conner and Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto team up to dismantle a heroin cartel. They bring it down from the inside out by joining the cartel. However, Gisele is one step ahead of them and was already in the process of trying to bring down the cartel. She is an impressive fighter with extremely high intelligence, something every viewer wishes they could be.

6 Fast & Furious 6 (2013) – 7.0

Skipping a movie from Fast & Furious in the saga, Gal Gadot reprises her role as Gisele in Fast & Furious 6. In the sixth film of the series, Dwayne Johnson’s character Hobbs has O’Conner and Toretto reassemble the team to bring down a group of mercenaries led by Owen Shaw played by The Alienist actor Luke Evans.

Much like all Fast & Furious movies, this one features high-speed car chases, large explosions, and tons of fighting. Unfortunately for Fast & Furious 6 it has a rather weak villain in Shaw and is not as cleverly developed as some of the others. That said, Gadot makes great use of her limited screen time including a hilarious scene alongside Gina Carano in which they make a deal happen with Gadot’s words and Carano’s fists.

5 Ralph Breaks The Internet (2018) – 7.0

Gal Gadot may be in the Fast & Furious franchise but her driving skills are on full display in Ralph Breaks The Internet. In the sequel to Wreck-It Ralph, Ralph and Vanellope explore the internet and what it has to offer. While in the world of the internet, Vanellope meets a driver named Shank, played by Gadot.

Shank is a strong female driver that runs the tracks of the online game, “Slaughter Race”. Shank becomes friends with Vanellope and Ralph, helps save them from a deadly virus, and even has Vanellope join her game. In one of Gadot’s best movies according to Rotten Tomatoes, she becomes her own Disney princess.

4 Furious 7 (2015) – 7.1

Furious 7 marked an end for Gal Gadot’s character Gisele in the franchise. Sadly, Gisele died a tragic death in Fast & Furious 6, which was a heartbreaking moment for all fans because her boyfriend Han, played by Sung Kang, tries to save her.

Gisele instead lets go of Han’s hand as she dangles from a Range Rover to save him from being shot by one of Owen Shaw’s men. In Furious 7, she appears in flashbacks, as Han remembers his late lover and reminisces on their time together.

3 Fast Five (2011) – 7.3

None of Gadot’s performances in the saga overtake the one in Fast Five. The 2011 film was just her second in the franchise and fourth on the big screen but easily her best at the time. Fast Five has the most entertaining story in the franchise. It involves a massive heist, highly trained federal agent Hobbs, and a cutthroat Brazilian drug lord.

The idea of a near-impossible money heist to earn freedom for the crew is what puts this atop the Fast & Furious. No other film featured such a wild heist with cars flying from magnetization. Gadot is among a stacked cast but has one of the best moments in the film when she makes Han’s jaw drop from a slow walk in a bathing suit.

2 Wonder Woman (2017) – 7.4

Sometimes people are born to play a role. For Gal Gadot, it’s Wonder Woman. In Wonder Woman, Gadot becomes the Amazonian warrior and helps defend the world from a far worse world war than what occurred. The cast includes Chris Pine as U.S. pilot Steve Trevor, Robin Wright as Antiope, and Daniel Thewlis as the dreaded god of war, Ares.

Gadot’s performance rejuvenated the DCEU. As Diana, she showed off being a strong-minded woman in the 1940s through multiple funny scenes including her memorable one trying on different outfits in a British boutique with Etta. The film balances the humor out with a strong story, solid dialogue, intense fight scenes, and Gadot owning the character of Wonder Woman.

1 Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021) – 8.1

Over her lustrous career, Gal Gadot has a collection of iconic roles and movies. None overcome her role as Wonder Woman. No Wonder Woman movie surpasses Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Marked with the longest runtime of any superhero movie, Zack Snyder’s edit of the 2017 Justice League is 242 minutes of action and suspense.

The film is broken down into seven parts, each with a unique title and storyline that pertains to the overarching one. Gadot shines with her character’s clever humor and massive intelligence. Zack Snyder’s Justice League has many heroes and even an appearance by Jared Leto’s Joker. It’s fun, adventurous, and while long, is Gadot’s best film.
