Dee Bradley Baker is an actor and voice actor who has been seen and heard in many shows, movies and games. While his work includes being on Legends of the Hidden Temple, The Boxtrolls, and part of video games, like Halo and Overwatch, Baker may be best known as the voice behind animals and other cute and kooky characters from animated stories.

From voicing classic characters that have been entertaining fans for years to bringing to life fan-favorite supporting characters, genres and tales, all show just how impressive this actor is.

10 Squilliam Fancyson & Bubble Bass – SpongeBob SquarePants

SpongeBob SquarePants is an animated series that has been on since 1999. Its main characters include the bubbly SpongeBob SquarePants, the dim-witted Patrick Star, the cranky Squidward Tentacles and the karate-chopping Sandy Cheeks.

Two of its supporting characters are Squilliam Fancyson III, Squidward’s nemesis, and Bubble Bass, a bass fish that is the nemesis of SpongeBob. Both characters were voiced by Baker.

9 Appa & Momo – Avatar: The Last Airbender

Avatar: The Last Airbender was on between 2005 and 2008 and focused on Aang the Avatar, who could “bend” the elements of air, water, earth and fire. Throughout his journey to maintain harmony in the world, he was accompanied by his friends, Katara, Sokka and Toph, as well as two animals, both voiced by Baker.

There was a winged lemur named Momo and a flying bison, Aapa, who was Aang’s animal guide and spirit companion.

8 Pabu, Naga & Tarrlok – The Legend Of Korra

Avatar: The Last Airbender was followed by The Legend of Korra, which focused on the new Avatar, Korra. Her furry friend was a polar bear dog named Naga, and early on, she met Pabu, a fire ferret that belonged to Bolin.

Baker continued his tradition of bringing these Avatar animals to life. He also voiced Tarrlok, a politician who was against the Equalists.

7 Perry The Platypus – Phineas & Ferb

Phineas and Ferb came on the Disney Channel from 2008 to 2015, and its main characters were stepbrothers named Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher. Each episode featured the boys having adventures while on summer vacation … adventures that always annoyed their sister, Candace.

These two characters also had a pet platypus, Perry the Platypus, another one of Baker’s characters. He was a spy named Agent P, who worked for the OWCA (the Organization Without a Cool Acronym) and went up against a mad scientist named Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz.

6 Cinnamon Bun, Mr. Cupcake & Chet – Adventure Time

Between 2010 and 2018, Adventure Time came on the Cartoon Network, and centered around a boy named Finn and a dog with powers, named Jake.

The setting of the story was a the Land of Ooo, which was filled with magic and colorful characters, such as Cinnamon Bun (who was, yes, a cinnamon bun), Mr. Cupcake (another dessert) & Chet (who looked like a bon-bon). Baker got the credit for behind the voice behind all three characters.

5 Bagheera – Jungle Cubs

Taking its inspiration from The Jungle Book, Jungle Cubs ran for two seasons, starting in 1996 and featured younger versions of the animal characters.

As mentioned, Baker is known as the voice behind many animal characters in animated movies and series, and this includes Bagheera, in this series. This practical panther was portrayed by Elizabeth Daily in season 1, followed by Baker in the second season.

4 Daffy Duck, Tazmanian Devil & Toro The Bull – Space Jam

Space Jam, which came out in 1996, combined live-action and animation to tell a made-up story of what happened when Michael Jordan retired from basketball. Apparently, he teamed up with the Looney Tunes to play against a group of aliens!

Two of the most well known Looney Tunes characters in this film are Daffy Duck and the Tazmanian Devil, and they were both voiced by Baker, as well as Toro The Bull.

3 Mooch – G-Force

In 2009, G-Force told the story of some unique FBI Special Agents – guinea pigs! The movie featured the voices of big stars, like Zach Galifianakis, Tracy Morgan, Will Arnett, Penélope Cruz, Jon Favreau, Nicolas Cage, Sam Rockwell and Steve Buscemi, and it also featured Baker.

Baker was not a guinea pig, though. Instead, he was a fly named Mooch, who was part of  G-Force.

2 George Clooney The Dog – Hot In Cleveland

Hot in Cleveland came on TV Land between 2010 and 2015, and starred Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White.

During season 5, there was an animated episode, which had references to things like Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory and The Walking Dead. It also featured George Clooney The Dog, another one of Baker’s roles.

1 Various In Theme Park Attractions

Baker has also provided his voice for various theme park rides and attractions. For example, California Screamin’ was around between 2006 and 2010, and he was the original host of this attraction. On Pirates of the Caribbean, a classic ride at Disney theme parks, Baker voiced the parrot.

And he also played Boba Fett in Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, which can be found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris.
