10 Funniest Nebula Memes That Would Make Even Her Laugh

The MCU is full of hilarious characters who have a strong sense of humor and are able to quickly come up with jokes and quips – even when they’re fighting their enemies! But when someone says ‘a funny MCU hero,’ Nebula isn’t usually the name that comes up. The adoptive daughter of Thanos is many things – determined, brave, and dangerous – but funny isn’t one of them.

Despite that, the fans were able to find some humor about Nebula and her life too. She’s been through a lot of sad moments but there’s more to Nebula than just her dark past and the fans proved this by making multiple hilarious memes about her.

10 Silent Nebula

One of the things that don’t make any sense about the MCU is why Nebula stayed silent about the Soul Stone and Vormir. Nebula knew that in order to get the Soul Stone, someone had to be sacrificed as she lost her sister Gamora this way when Thanos sacrificed her.

But even though Nebula knew all of this, she still didn’t share the information with the rest of the Avengers. It’s doubtful whether they would have come up with an alternative solution but they could have at least tried.

9 Improving Over Time

Just like with all things and activities, even making memes is something people get better at over a period of time. At first, it can be a real challenge to make a funny meme but eventually, it gets much easier. So much so the person can look at their old memes and have a similar reaction like Nebula had in this meme.

Except the angry Nebula was the one from the past, but it turned out she wasn’t right and her older, supposedly weaker self, defeated her in the end.

8 Nebula Deserves Merchandise Too

Nebula may have started as the antagonist but she eventually became an honorary member of the Guardians of the Galaxy. But unlike most of the Guardians, Nebula doesn’t get enough love and attention when it comes to her merchandise.

She’s a badass, yes, but people prefer buying cute stuff featuring the likes of (baby) Groot and Rocket, for example, while Nebula stands in the corner. A lot of her fans would agree that she deserves better.

7 No Eating!

Nebula and Tony formed a surprisingly good duo when they traveled on a ship together after the events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018). They even played games together. But unfortunately for Tony, they eventually ran out of food and water.

Nebula would most likely do fine for longer than Tony considering all the modifications Thanos did to her body. In this meme, Tony realizes things aren’t looking so great for him so he asks Nebula not to eat him in case he dies first – which seems like a fair request.

6 The Sweet Taste Of Victory

For most of her life, Nebula competed with Gamora – and always lost to her sister. So when she finally gets to win the game she plays against Tony, it doesn’t immediately compute to Nebula that she indeed won.

But once it does, her reaction is priceless and it shows that Nebula has much more emotions and expressions than people might have believed.

5 Lazy Dad

Nebula hasn’t had it easy. She wanted a sister she would get along with and she wanted Thanos to treat her well, respect her and be kind to her. Instead, Thanos only used Nebula to do his work for him. F

or all his reputation as the biggest, most frightening villain in the MCU, Thanos spent a surprising amount of time just sitting around, doing exactly nothing, while Nebula tried to do what he wanted. If that isn’t bad parenthood, it’s hard to say what is.

4 The Doctor Disapproves

Before Karen Gillan was cast as Nebula in the MCU, her most famous role was that of Amy Pond in Doctor Who. So it was only a matter of time before some meme would put the two parts together.

In this case, the Doctor is upset and sad to realize what had happened to his former companion and great friend. That also begs the question of who would win if the Doctor stood against Thanos.

3 Nebula Knows No Mercy

Some of the best Nebula memes don’t actually have Nebula in them, at least not in a significant position. Nebula might not have the same deadly reputation as Gamora but that doesn’t mean she’s not dangerous or a capable fighter. In fact, Nebula can be ruthless and she knows no mercy.

She also has very little tolerance for bothersome people so if she ever met Deadpool, it wouldn’t take long for the Merc with a Mouth to die in a rather gruesome way. Luckily for Deadpool, he’s virtually immortal but the first round would still go to Nebula.

2 Now And Then

In the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, Nebula and Gamora didn’t get along very much. It wasn’t until the second film and the subsequent Avengers movies that Nebula became one of the good guys.

But even at her worst, she never seemed as cold and evil as her version from the past that showed up in Avengers: Endgame (2019). This meme funnily points out the difference and it also speaks volumes about Nebula’s growth as a person over the course of the MCU.

1 How People Change

The films never revealed what Nebula was like before Thanos got his hands on her. Maybe her transformation was so big it feels like she had a different face before.

But there are some heroes in the MCU who actually had a different face before, such as the War Machine or the Hulk, thanks to recasting and other behind-the-scene shenanigans. At least Karen Gillan got to play Nebula right from the start.
