The Star Wars sequel trilogy presented by a new Lucasfilm under the Disney banner was both successful and unbelievably divisive. Still, the one thing just about everybody liked throughout the trilogy was Kylo Ren, played excellently by Kylo Ren.

In other Star Wars media that is far less divisive, that being The Mandalorian, there is but one thing dominating the fandom, and pop culture in general, that, of course, being the Child, Baby Yoda. What hilarious results come when the two are pitted against each other?

10 Chicky Nuggies

Adam Driver’s Oscar-nominated performance in Marriage Story was one of the very best, arguably the best of 2019, but also spawned a whole load of meme content, including those relating to Baby Yoda. They are the Star Wars version of the woman and the cat.

Baby Yoda is insanely adorable and has broken pop culture because of it. The little green whatever he is gives off serious chicky nuggie vibes, and you can imagine him using the phrase if you know there were nuggets in Star Wars or if he could speak.

9 Veg-eta-bles.

While Adam Driver’s outing as Charlie in Marriage Story is a meme goldmine and an insanely good performance the same could be said about his three outings as Kylo Ren in the sequel trilogy; which have also inspired many memes; swole Kylo anyone?

If there is some parallel Star Wars universe/timeline out there where MacDonalds somehow exists, you can one-hundred percent see Baby Yoda dragging Mando to every single Galactic drive-through, at every opportunity, and Mando begrudgingly obeying.

8 Bored, Not Hungry!

Baby Yoda is a curious and sweet little guy. His sipping soup shot is iconic, his curiosity with parts of the Razor Crest is adorable, and his eating of the Sorgan Frogs that he finds is both a little disturbing and cute when he spits them out.

Boredom is something that you can see affecting Baby Yoda, and everyone has experienced times of boredom where they fill the space with food. It is a bad habit nobody is free from, and there may be nothing more comforting and demoralizing at the same time as eating when bored.

7 Bad Dog!

One thing that will likely always trump Baby Yoda in terms of cuteness is everyone’s pet. Nothing brings more pride or love to a person than their pet, but sometimes, they can do things that require a telling off, and it is always a pretty heartbreaking experience.

It is hard to imagine giving Baby Yoda into trouble for anything, much less your dog. Sometimes though, when toilet training has not yet finished, or if the pup is just having a bad day, you find yourself heartbreakingly giving them into trouble.

6 Sith. Lord.

As was mentioned earlier, Kylo Ren may be the most popular character to have come out of the sequel trilogy.

Nevertheless, he does have some critics, and even those who love him will take some jabs at him every so often, specifically for his emo like nature, or his extremely cool, unstable crossguard lightsaber.

5 OK, Boomer.

As well as being arguably the best in terms of performance and character work consistently throughout the trilogy, Kylo Ren was pretty much the main character alongside Rey.

The “OK boomer” phenomenon is something that has dominated for the past few months, kind of how The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda stole all the conversation away from the sequels for a while.

4 Baby Yoda Show

The Mandalorian has been the finest piece of original content for Disney+ as well as one of the best pieces of Star Wars content available to fans.

To those outside the fandom, though, they might not even know what The Mandalorian is, they just know Baby Yoda, so Baby Yoda show is not massively inaccurate.

3 I’m Fursty

Going back to the emo with a glowstick comment, as well as the side story debate, this meme pretty much has everything you need for a Kylo Ren Baby/Yoda argument.

Kylo giving up with the entire argument is eerily similar to how you can see bedtime going between the Child and Mando.

2 Dad

A lot of what makes Star Wars so great is the relationships between characters, and how they grow and develop, and sometimes take you by surprise.

The Mandalorian embodies this, with Baby Yoda and Din Djarin’s relationship coming out of nowhere and becoming one of the best, and sweetest things Star Wars has ever seen. The pair are adorable, and it is genuinely a father-son relationship to admire.

1 COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic is one that has taken the world by storm, and changed life as people know it, and is something that is no laughing matter, with everyone having to do their part to help get through it.

The hoarding and panic buying of various products from stores was prominent for a good few weeks but has thankfully died down. We all relate to Kylo Ren/Adam Driver in this meme.
