Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman is one of the most beloved superheroes in the entire world. Since his debut in 1938, the great icon has been portrayed outside of comics countless times on the big and small screen as well as in video games and animated shows. Several talented actors have brought the famous character to life whether it be in live-action or animation. With the presence that this character has and will continue to have for many years to come. Because of that, his fanbase will always be a massive one that allows for memes, fan-art and more to take over the Internet.

Just like so many other characters in other franchises, there are aspects of Clark that can be laughed at, obviously in a good way. With that said, these are the 10 most hilarious Clark Kent memes from the Internet.

10 The CW Crossover People Missed

Smallville and Supernatural were The CW’s flagship show back when the network first launched after merging The WB and UPN into one. Given the two show’s setup with the supernatural, it’s a wonder how a crossover never happened between the two of them. Even though they were filming in Vancouver, Canada, fans never got to see the shows do a proper crossover. That’s why one of the closest things we’ll have to a crossover between the two is when Clark Kent (Tom Welling) and Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) clashed in Cheaper by the Dozen. There’s also the season when Jensen Ackles was Clark Kent’s coach before becoming Dean Winchester the following year.

9 Phone Booth’s Worth

Many may ask today what the point of phone booths is at this point. Given how far technology has come in the last 20 years, who even uses a phone booth these days? Maybe Superman’s existence in the real world has actually been confirmed this entire time.

What if the reason we still have some phone booths left is that so Clark, wherever he is in the world, can change at any given time? Otherwise, this meme probably does become a reality if he can’t change into his super-suit.

8 Superman Vs Shazam

Everyone eventually wants to see Shazam and Superman share the spotlight on the big screen together, both as allies and probably opponents. We almost had it in Shazam earlier this year when Superman showed up at the end, while we never saw his face. If they were to ever clash though, there is the never-ending question of who would win in a battle between these two icons? Maybe it’s not a fight about strength, but a battle of wits that the showdown will actually consist of. Because we definitely wouldn’t mind seeing Zachary Levi and Henry Cavill (if he actually ever returns to this role again) have a showdown in who is the wittiest out of the two.

7 Superman’s Second Weakness

Everyone knows that Kryptonite is what can weaken the Man of Steel. It is as common knowledge as the symbol he wears on his chest. One aspect of Superman that people keep criticizing him of is that he is too powerful. Even though he can be affected by magic or be killed by someone like Doomsday, he is still considered “too powerful.”

Does he have any other weaknesses? Perhaps a visit to the eye doctor is what scares him the most because the second he would put on a pair of glasses, this meme could very well happen where he is recognized as Clark Kent.

6 Great Superhero, Struggling Reporter

While Clark rocks at being a superhero, how does he still have a job as a reporter? In many incarnations, Clark is almost always missing during a dramatic event while Superman saves the day. Lately, certain versions in media have portrayed Clark as being better at multi-tasking his duties as a superhero and journalist. But early on it was very easy for writers to forget that Clark doesn’t really stand out too much a reporter, performance-wise.

5 Doctor Who Tackles Clark’s Secret

Everyone is a major Doctor Who fan knows the saying about the infamous TARDIS: it’s bigger on the inside. With that, the Doctor and his companions have all the room in the world to operate in. But with Clark’s constant changes in phone booths, how does he do it?

The space is incredibly tight in most cases and it’s a wonder that he doesn’t literally destroy the booths he visits after doing his super-quick change. Maybe this is a mystery for the Doctor to solve in a future season?

4 Facebook Riddle

Batman is one of the world’s greatest detectives in the DC Universe, there is no doubt about that. It has usually not taken long for the Dark Knight to figure out that this mild-mannered reporter is actually the Man of Tomorrow in disguise. However, how would the Caped Crusader tackle that mystery if it was done on Facebook?

3 Clueless Batman

A dumbed-down version of Batman is hard to find in the many live-action and animated versions that we have seen of him in the last 20 years. However, in some alternative reality, we could see this meme literally playing out every single day. Batman being shocked by Clark showing up right after work but just wearing the glasses and not his Daily Planet clothes is something we can imagine.

2 Super-Glow Up

Brandon Routh had his shot at playing Superman in Superman Returns that came out back in 2006. While the film didn’t do as well as Warner Bros. had hoped, it wouldn’t be Routh’s last time as the iconic hero. Recently he suited up as his Superman again in a Kingdom Come inspired costume in Crisis on Infinite Earths.  The crossover is not over yet, but this meme perfectly captures that Routh got a way better deal in the ongoing Arrowverse event than he did in the 2006 installment. This is what we call a super-glow up.

1 Clark’s Greatest Power

It has and always will be commented on how people can’t see that Clark is Superman simply because he wears glasses. While Clark does have a completely different wardrobe and personality compared to his Superman persona, it shouldn’t be difficult to figure out his secret. But what if the glasses have more power than people realize? What if the mystery this entire time should have been focused on the glasses and whether they have super-powers? What if on Krypton, they were able to make glasses that had hypnotic abilities that could make Clark trick people in not seeing that he is actually Superman.
