One of the biggest teams to exist in all of fiction is DC Comics’ Justice League. While icons like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman are known all around the world, it’s when they all come together that raise their status to a higher level. The team, which has existed since the 1960s, has lived outside the comic panels for years. Whether it’s in animation like the iconic Justice League Unlimited series or in live-action with the DCEU, the team has been everywhere. While the group has been on the big-screen, their official assemble will be taking place in 2021 when Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League arrives on HBO Max.

But even prior to the 4-hour film arriving, the Justice League has for decades had a massive fandom behind them all over the world. While they’re gods, more or less, there are certain things that can be taken comically that emerge through fan-art and memes. When it comes to the big-screen adaptation of the team, there is no exception.

10 Cyborg-Batman

Ray Fisher became the first actor ever to bring Victor Stone a.k.a. Cyborg to life on the big screen as part of the DCEU. While fans have yet to see his character fully, which they’ll get to in 2021, there is one element that they may have not thought too much about. Given that Victor is infused with technology, it didn’t seem to change his voice at all.

However, Batman, who is a mortal man in a costume, manages to sound more Cyborg-y than the actual Cyborg. Even though it’s a voice modulator, it’s hilarious that Bruce sounds robotic compared to Victor.

9 Embrace The Batfleck

Whenever a big superhero is being cast in the film, the Internet always makes sure their opinions are heard, whether they are pro or against certain actors. When Ben Affleck was cast as the Dark Knight, the online world got loud, to say the least.

Even before he had shot a frame as the DC icon, there were plenty of naysayers. Once Affleck made his debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice; a lot of fans had a change of heart because of what he brought to the role.

8 Bruce’s Secret Crush

Longtime Batman and Wonder Woman fans definitely got themselves a treat when Bruce and Diana interacted throughout Batman v Superman. Whether they’ll ever take their relationship into a romantic direction remains to be seen. However, what if Bruce had gotten his eyes on a different character while investigating Diana? In an alternative reality, Bruce could have easily fallen for Steve Trevor just like Diana did.

7 Justice League Evolution

Even though the DCEU incarnation of the Justice League is the most well-known, the team did actually have its time on the small screen. In the later seasons of Smallville, Clark and various members formed a proto-version of the beloved league. Even if they couldn’t call themselves the Justice League, they still got to do some team-ups.

The costumes between the two versions are as different as they could possibly get and great in their own ways. The Smallville suits could be seen as the beginning of the team’s live-action adventures that culminated with the DCEU.

6 Shading Civil War

2016 was an intense year for superhero films as both Batman v Superman and Captain America: Civil War was being released. While they’re vastly different, their biggest similarity revolved around heroes fighting each other. As amazing as their respective action fights were, Batman v Superman does have something that the third Captain America film didn’t.

Marvel may have had more heroes in their movie, but at least Batman and Superman fought in a way more impressive setting rather than in a parking lot.

5 If Darkseid’s Mom Was Named Martha

Darkseid will finally be getting his live-action debut next year that has been long overdue. Given that he is one of DC’s most iconic villains, Darkseid’s role in the Snyder Cut is highly anticipated. Fans don’t even know what he sounds like other than that Ray Porter will be voicing him.

As powerful as he is, this meme paints a very hilarious scenario if his mother’s name was also Martha. While the Martha moment in Batman v Superman is greatly overlooked, it’d be hysterical if Darkseid’s mom had a name as human as Martha.

4 If Clark Kent Worked For Daily Bugle

When he isn’t flying around saving the world as Superman, Kal-El is Clark Kent, reporter of the Daily Planet. While Perry White is a tough editor to work with, how would the Man of Steel do if he worked for Daily Bugle’s J. Jonah Jameson? Clark is one of the most patient people in the DC realm, but Jameson might be someone who could break him. Jameson makes Kryptonite look good because at least it can’t be as loud and outrageous as him.

3 Don’t Disrespect Diana, Ever

Similarly to Affleck’s Batman casting, Gal Gadot had some negativity thrown at her when she was picked to portray Wonder Woman in DC’s cinematic universe. From ridiculous comments about her body to her resume, Gadot made it clear that she was the right choice to bring Diana Prince to life. Since 2016, Gadot has owned the DC heroine with grace both in her own franchise as well as in other DC films.

2 If Bruce Was A Fanboy

Bruce Wayne may be a lot of things, but a geek is not one of them, at least not on the outside. Since becoming Batman, Bruce really doesn’t strike as the type who would cosplay at a comic book convention or nerd out in front of a favorite celebrity. Despite his hesitations about Clark, it wouldn’t be a big shock if it turned out that Bruce was actually a Superman fanboy. No one would exactly blame him if Bruce was secretly crazy about Superman.

1 Curfew With Superman

While the 2017 theatrical cut of Justice League isn’t the true version of the film, it had its handful of enjoyable moments. One of them was when Ezra Miller’s Flash tried to outsmart a resurrected Superman with the power of super-speed. The reaction Clark gives to Barry while in slow-motion was born to be turned into multiple memes.

Whenever the Man of Steel is that angry, it’s like being greeted by an upset parent for missing curfew. Perhaps the kids on Superman & Lois will do better because imagine if Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman gave that same reaction.
