Animated series Archer has grown in popularity in recent years thanks to its clever jokes and captivating plots. It’s popularity also came, as a result, o its inclusion in Netflix’s list of offerings. The show was originally broadcast on FX before moving to FXX. The series focusses on a group of dysfunctional spies—led by Sterling Archer—as they attempt to stop threats.

During its run, Archer has managed to win three Primetime Emmy Awards. It has also received a whopping 15 Annie Award nominations. The eleventh season which was meant to premiere in May 2020 was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Here are other shows you recognize the cast from.

H. Jon Benjamin voices Sterling Archer in Archer. Archer has been many things in the animated series. First, he was a Field Agent for the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS). Then in the fifth season, he was a narco-trafficker while in the sixth, he was a CIA contractor. He has also been a detective, a pilot, and a spaceship co-captain.

H. Jon Benjamin’s voice is recognizable from another popular animated series. In Family Guy, he portrays Carl—the manager of Quahog Mini-Mart (a convenience store at a gas station).

9 Jessica Walter: Arrested Development

Walter is known for voicing the tritagonist of the animated show named Malory Archer. She is Sterling’s mother and the former head of the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS). Malory is known for her unfiltered commentary and harsh criticism.

Walter’s other notable role is that of Lucille Bluth in Arrested Development. Lucille loves to live a lavish lifestyle which she funds with misappropriated money from the Bluth Company. She is also a bad mother to her youngest son Buster and she’s been known to have affairs too. The only positive thing about her is her brilliant one-liners.

8 Chris Parnell: Rick And Morty

Parnell voices Cyril Figgis in Archer. Figgis is a former ISIS comptroller and former field agent. In the fifth season, he briefly served as the President of San Marcos. Cyril had a bad childhood which eventually made him insecure about his masculinity. As a result, he is always Sterling’s target for ridicule.

Parnell’s voice can be traced back to Adult Swim’s popular animated show Rick & Morty. Parnell voices Morty’s father Jerry Smith. Jerry has a rocky relationship with his wife Beth and the two tend to argue and separate all the time. He also has a competitive relationship with Rick.

7 Judy Greer: Two And A Half Men

In Archer, Judy Greer voices Cheryl Tunt. As a member of the Tunt family, Cheryl was introduced as Malory Archer’s lazy personal assistant. She is known to have a choking fetish and an addiction to rubber cement. Greer has an Annie Award nomination for her portrayal of Cheryl.

Greer’s other notable role is that of Herb’s little sister Myra Melnick in Two And A Half Men. Greer also voiced Walden Schmidt’s ex-wife Bridget Schmidt in the ninth season. Her credits on the show don’t end there. She also appeared briefly as Danielle Stewart, a lady that Charlie set up on a date with Alan.

6 Amber Nash: Frisky Dingo

Nash provides the voice for Pam Poovey in Archer. Pam was a Human Resources (H.R.) Director at ISIS. She enjoyed exposing personal information about other employees on her blog. She was also fond of wearing a dolphin hand puppet which she claimed helped with her mediations.

Amber Nash hasn’t had many other roles. She is known for voicing Hooker, a prostitute who eventually becomes a millionaire in the animated series Frisky Dingo. She also voices Vallerie, a personal assistant who is constantly abused.

5 Aisha Tyler: Criminal Minds

Tyler voices Lana, the top female special agent at ISIS (International Secret Intelligence Service). When ISIS finally gets shut down by the FBI, she takes up a job as an unlicensed private investigator.

Aisha Tyler is best known for portraying forensic psychologist Dr. Tara Lewis in the procedural crime drama Criminal Minds. Dr. Lewis is also a Supervisory Special Agent of the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU). Dr. Lewis has appeared in 87 episodes of the show.

4 Lucky Yates: Good Eats

In Archer, Yates voices Dr. Algernop Krieger, the former head of the ISIS Applied Research Department. Krieger is not a medical doctor but performs activities that require the skills of someone with a medical degree. He also speaks German, English, and Portuguese fluently.

Yates hasn’t had many other roles too. He can be best recognized from the Food Network series Good Eats. He plays a character known as The Dungeon Master who loves overspending on food items.

3 Adam Reed: Sealab 2021

Raymond Gillette is the character voiced by Reed in Archer. Raymond is a former analyst, case officer, bomb specialistand field agent for ISIS. He is also gay but was forced to keep his sexuality a secret for many years due to the conservative nature of his father. He also confessed that he was once married to a lesbian.

Adam Reed is known voicing the character Shark in the Adult Swim animated comedy Sealab 2021. Shark is the head of an employment agency. He is feared by many characters due to his superhuman abilities and no-nonsense attitude. Reed is also Archer‘s creator.

2 George Coe: The West Wing

George, who sadly passed away, was a legendary actor with over 200 film and TV credits. Coe voiced  Sterling Archer’s elderly valet, Sir Arthur Woodhouse, in Archer. Woodhouse is said to have raised sterling since his mother was mostly absent. After George Coe’s death, Woodhouse was written out the show with the explanation that he died from a heroin overdose.

Willis provides the voice of Bartholomew (Barry) Dylan, one of the main antagonists in the series. Barry is a former ODIN agent who was genetically engineered to become a cyborg by the KGB. He eventually goes on to head the KGB. However, he lost his position after he was trapped in space.

Dave Willis voices The Landlord in the animated series Talking Tom and Friends. However, he is mostly known for his work as a creator and screenwriter rather than an actor. He has served as a writer in over 10 animated shows.
