Dragon Ball Legends is a mobile video game based on the wildly popular Dragon Ball manga and anime series. The action-packed role-playing game allows players to choose countless characters from the Dragon Ball canon, including Goku, Trunks, Vegeta, and more as they collect various cards, compile multiple strengths and fighting skills, and use their extreme power to defeat some of the most dangerous enemies in existence.

In the game, fighters are broken into five separate categories based on their collective skills and overall combat prowess. In descending order, fighters are divided into Tier Z, Tier S, Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3. As the game updates over time, the player rankings continue to change.

10 SP Super Saiyan 2 Trunks (Blue)

As the Future’s preeminent Blue fighter, SPSS 2 Trunks wields tremendous Strike and Blast power, getting a 40% increase in Damage Inflicted for every 10-second battle he wages. With the ability to restore up to 20 Ki per attack, the character is hard to take down.

With Top 100 rankings across all five categories, SP Buu: Kid Blue is currently one of the most powerful characters in DBL. The S-Tier fighter is bolstered by his Nap Time green card, which offers a 15% healing increase, extra 10-second Draw Speed, and 60% Vanishing for use up to four times.

With a range of powers at his disposal, SP Buu: Kid also has a whopping 90% Damage Inflicted rate, which is increased by 25% when battling Saiyans or Regeneration Fighters.

8 SP Majin Buu: Good (Green)

With a Top 10 Blast and Strike Defense rating, SP Majin Buu: Good (Green) derives most of his dominant strength by wearing opponents down in battle and winning a war of attrition. As a skilled S-Tier fighter, the character is essentially immortal.

SPSS Bardock’s Main Ability combines Draw Speed with Ultimate Damage, a lethal mixture that can also replenish the character’s Vanishing Guage. With an expansive toolkit that also includes a permanent 20% Sustained Damage Cut Buff, Bardock can often man entire team missions alone.

5 SP Super Gogeta (Red)

As the first Fusion Warrior to enter the game, SP Super Gogeta has ascended as one of the strongest DBL characters. His Zenkai upgrade has increased his Damage output upon using an interchangeable Strike or Blast Art.

Armed with the “Ultimate Fusion” and “Power That Surpasses Time” enhancement, SP Gogeta Red gives him up to 50% Damage Inflicted, 30% Ki Recovery, and increased speed that makes him one of the most destructive punchers in the game. Also equipped with the Extra Arts Card that halts attacks, SP Gogeta can use the skill with any card combination.

Hailed as the second-best unit in the game due to her pulverizing combos, SP Android 18 Yel uses her unique “Deadly Dance” art and “Elegant Combat” ability to overpower her foes.

In addition to possessing infinite energy and punishing counter-defense skills, she also uses her deadly lock skill to freeze an opponent’s strike for seven seconds, allowing for a deadly counterattack.

The most powerful character currently playable in DBL is SP Super Saiyan 2 Youth Gohan (Red). Upon his Zenkai awakening, the Z-Tier fighter has an impenetrable defense mechanism formed by his Zenkai-supported cover change effect.
