9 Child’s Play 3 Doesn’t Deserve The Criticism

A popular opinion on Reddit about the Chucky TV adaptation is that while it’s great to watch another entry in this beloved horror franchise, the show focuses more on teenage drama than horror elements.

4 Seed Of Chucky Is Smarter

While Seed of Chucky does represent an important moment in the franchise, as fans get to see Tiffany and Chucky as a family, it does get a lot of criticism as the majority of fans seem to find it one of the worst movies.

3 Curse And Cult Of Chucky Are Important Movies

2013’s Curse of Chucky and 2017’s Cult of Chucky aren’t the most beloved or popular entires in the horror franchise.

2 It’s Better When There’s Just One Chucky

From Chucky’s scariest quotes to the way that he kills people, there are many reasons to find him absolutely horrifying, even though the franchise is known for a campy tone and lots of jokes.

While the franchise has evolved and sometimes there is more than one doll, not everyone loves that. For Reddit user MischeviousCacti, it’s not enjoyable that there are “multiple” Chucky dolls now. The fan wrote, “when it was just him by himself he had such a huge presence.”

1 The TV Show Is Better Than Many Of The Films

When a beloved franchise becomes a TV series, there are going to be a lot of strong feelings. While many feel that the Child’s Play movies are more compelling than the TV show, even if they don’t love all of the them, not everyone shares that opinion.
