Microsoft has stacked the back half of February 2022 with an impressive lineup of Xbox Game Pass titles, which includes the likes of Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Madden NFL 22. February 2022’s Xbox Game Pass lineup already featured a fair few noteworthy additions; Contrast hit the service on February 3, for instance, alongside Sam Barlow’s acclaimed Telling Lies. Notably, CrossfireX and Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition made their with to Game Pass on February 10 and 14, respectively.

Since its original launch in the summer of 2017, Xbox Game Pass has continuously increased its overall value. The lowest tier costs $9.99 per month, guaranteeing subscribers access to a vast catalogue of experiences that include first-party Xbox Game Studios titles. Meanwhile, the Ultimate subscription bears a $15 price tag, with the extra chunk of change securing access to EA Play, cloud gaming on mobile and tablet, and a bevy of exclusive in-game perks such as bonus Halo Infinite rewards. And as the value proposition grows, so, too, does Game Pass’ membership numbers. At last count, in fact, the service had topped an impressive 25 million users. Undoubtedly, many of them will find something to appreciate about the platform’s next batch of new titles.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

In an Xbox Wire post, Microsoft detailed eight new titles expected to hit Xbox Game Pass over the course of the next two weeks. Starting today, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can take to the stars in Mass Effect Legendary Edition, thanks to EA Play. The EA service will also allow Ultimate members to access Madden NFL 22 on February 17; Lawn Mowing Simulator comes to Game Pass for Xbox One users the same day. February 17 will further see PC users unlock access to day one Game Pass title Total War: Warhammer III. Roboquest (Gameplay Preview) hits the service for PC on February 22, followed by the release of Galactic Civilizations III and Super Mega Baseball 3 (EA Play) on February 24. Finally, Alice Madness Returns will round out the month on February 28 for PC via EA Play.

This seems a solid lineup with which to round out the month, especially for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. The addition of last year’s Mass Effect collection and Total War: Warhammer III is bound to prove most enticing for many a subscriber, for instance. And the likes of Madden NFL 22 and Alice Madness Returns serve as heavy-hitters in their own right.

The upcoming Total War entry isn’t all Game Pass members have to look forward to in terms of day one additions, either. Of course, first-party experiences such as Redfall and Starfield appear on the docket. But several eagerly-anticipated third-party titles were previously confirmed to receive day-and-date Xbox Game Pass releases as well, including MLB The Show 22, A Plague Tale: Requiem, and Atomic Heart.
