90 Day Fiancé: Aaron Carter’s Ex Might Be Staying With Larissa’s Friend

Just one week after the birth of their first son, Aaron Carter and his fiancé Melanie Martin have split up, and Aaron thinks Melanie is going to stay with 90 Day Fiancé’s Carmen Nys. Fans of the franchise may remember Larissa Lima’s friend Carmen for bailing Larissa out of jail in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 5. Carmen also let Larissa stay with her after her divorce from Colt Johnson. Colt’s other Brazilian ex, Jess Caroline, apparently also stayed with Carmen, and it was through Carmen that she met her now-husband Brian Hanvey.

Pop star Aaron Carter recently reported that he had split up with his fiancé Melanie due to supposed drama with his sister, Angel Carter. Melanie fled their California home with their baby boy after the couple called it quits. The pair had been together for two years, and got engaged in June 2020.

TMZ reported that Aaron was under the impression that Melanie was heading to Las Vegas to stay with Carmen, which he believes was Melanie’s “backup plan” throughout their relationship. According to TMZ, Aaron and Melanie split up after Melanie was in communication with Aaron’s sister Angel. The “Aaron’s Party” singer says Angel and his other family members “tried to put [Aaron] in prison” in the past, and accused Melanie of being on his family members’ side and lying to him since day 1.

Although Aaron thinks Melanie is staying with Carmen, Carmen said on her IG story that Melanie was not in fact staying with her. She mentioned that she hopes Melanie and the baby are safe, and that if Melanie needed somewhere to stay, she would be welcome at her house. However, she maintained that they had not talked at all. Larissa Lima’s Brazilian friend also stated she understands why Aaron thought his ex fiancé was staying with her, as she and Melanie are friends and she has helped women in the past in similar situations, but that she is not involved in this particular situation. The new mom of one ended her statement by saying that she is simply a “working mom” and wishes to be left alone.

Based on her statement, it looks like Carmen is telling the truth, and that Melanie is not at her house with the baby. As Carmen stated, Aaron’s assumption is likely because she is known to let women stay at her house when splitting from their partners. Many 90 Day Fiancé fans think that Carmen purposefully sticks herself in drama, but it seems more likely that Carmen is simply a good friend who wants to help people out. It will be interesting to see what happens next with Aaron and Melanie as the week goes on.
