Weight loss queen of 90 Day Fiancé Angela Deem wished all of her Instagram followers a happy mother’s day but not before posting a sweet tribute to her late momma Glenda Standridge. It was during her debut on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2 that Angela first introduced her family to TLC, including kids Scottie and Skyla, her six grandkids, and ailing mother Glenda. The reality show had documented Angela flying to Nigeria for the first time to propose to Michael. And unfortunately, it was just a week after Angela married Michael on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? that Glenda passed away.

When fans met Angela for the first time, the nursing assistant revealed she took care of her mother who had cancer. “We’re four generations of women all pitching in to take care of each other,” Angela had noted in 2018. After three years of a long-distance relationship, Angela married Michael on 27 January 2020 in Lagos, but her honeymoon was cut short after a heartbreaking call from Skyla saying Glenda was hospitalized in the ICU for being unresponsive. Angela rushed back to America and on February 8, and she shared that her mother had died.

Fortunately, Angela did get to spend time with her momma during her last moments, and later in an Instagram post had shared a photo of the beautiful Glenda saying, “We love you moma, But God love you more!” On Mother’s Day, Angela remembered Glenda and shared a lovely throwback memory of herself clinking cocktails with her by writing, “Happy Mother’s Day momma, I love you and miss you every day.” In her next IG story, 90 Day Fiancé celeb Angie also shared a pencil sketch of her mother done by a fan.

Angela’s next story was a video message for her loving followers a “happy, happy Mother’s Day” from her and her family. While revealing her recent 100-pound weight loss, Angela added, a special wish for “all the meemaws” like her. The Georgia resident joked that she’s going to spend the rest of the day just laying and making the grandkids rub her feet. In a new post, Angela did reveal that she got some beautiful flowers and handmade cards from her daughters and all her grandkids. Meanwhile, Angela wished Michael’s mom and her mother-in-law by sharing a happy photo from her wedding day.

The 90 Day Fiancé star, who is usually criticized for her loudmouth behavior on reality TV, wooed fans with her physique during the Happily Ever After? premiere. Fans admitted that Angela’s grandkids were the sweetest, and it showed how caring a meemaw she is to them. Needless to say, Angela definitely got it from her momma, who must be proudly watching her daughter become the most-talked-about reality TV star in recent days.
