90 Day Fiancé fans were excited when 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days season 5 was announced to feature seven new couples, and so far the spin-off show has not been disappointing. Several episodes in, viewers were able to see five of the seven couples meet in person, while a sixth couple has shown one of their intimate video calls. Though some relationships appear a bit mismatched, couples have already seen sparks flying- although other bedrooms are dead. Though five couples have now met in person, viewers are confused about one plot line. The romance between Ben Rathbun and his mysterious younger interest partner Mahogany was featured in the early season trailers but has yet to appear in any season 5 content. However, the current six couples are giving viewers plenty to watch as there have been a number of awkward and entertaining moments so far. 90 Day Fiancé fans welcomed the fresh content and new faces, as aside from Usman “Sojaboy” Umar, the other cast members are new to the franchise. 

When it comes to compatibility and chemistry between the new 90 Day Fiancé franchise couples, some are definitely getting along better than others. Although the couples all shared a connection through messages and phone calls, things appeared different when they met in person for the first time and were faced with physical intimacy. Viewers aren’t skeptical if they will last, but Jasmine and Gino are currently on the same page when it comes to their mutual attraction for each other. 2. Ella Johnson and Johnny

Ella Johnson and Johnny’s erotic anime-themed video calls might be difficult to watch, but it’s painfully clear to viewers that the American and Chinese couple are romantically into each other. Ella described in detail how Johnny likes to touch himself on camera while she reveals her body to him. Additionally, Johnny appeared extremely on board when Ella discussed cosplay in the bedroom, as Johnny and Ella appear to be on the same page when it comes to dressing up. Ella told Johnny that he could pick out erotic clothing for her, while he was happy to dress up how she wanted him to. However, Ella’s figure could be a major issue for their romance, as Johnny absolutely wants her to lose weight.

3. Mike Berk and Ximena Morales Cuellar

Mike Berk and Ximena Morales Cuellar are one couple that is raising red flags. Viewers immediately warmed up to Mike, although Ximena is being slammed for seemingly using the sweet American. However, the Colombian mother did appear genuinely happy to see Mike in person. Things between the couple are currently very awkward, as they must rely on translation apps to communicate and Mike’s English-to-Spanish app is rife with errors. However, Ximena and Mike share a mutual sexual attraction to each other that saw both of them wanting to be intimate on his first night. Though Ximena’s children interfered with their romantic plans, it does appear that Mike and Ximena are mutually interested in each other physically. However, Ximena also made it clear that Mike is far from her type.

4. Memphis Smith and Moknii Hamza

Memphis Smith and Moknii Hamza are another couple who were open about their steamy video calls. Memphis boldly showed off her naked figure on camera, while Hamza declared that he was a big fan of her body and curves. Memphis was very excited to be intimate with Hamza and made it clear that she wouldn’t marry him before they slept together. Although Hamza’s mother insisted on separate bedrooms until marriage, Hamza snuck into her bed on the first night. Unfortunately, previewers for next week’s new episode reveals that Memphis is very unsatisfied with Hamza’s performance, which might have killed their chemistry.

5. Caleb Greenwood and Alina Kozhevnikova

Caleb Greenwood and Alina Kozhevnikova are a good example of a couple who shared chemistry online that is not quite translating the same way in person. When Alina saw Caleb, she was very excited and immediately wanted a kiss. However, an exhausted Caleb admitted that he wasn’t feeling an immediate attraction. Viewers were unhappy with how fan-favorite Alina appeared to think Caleb should be intimate with her right away after traveling, while Caleb made it clear that he needed to process his feelings and evaluate his attraction. Though things appeared rocky between Caleb and Alina, they did share a very intimate make-out session at the end of the last episode that could see their sparks flying.

6. Kimberly Menzies and Usman “Sojaboy” Umar

Caleb and Alina are finding their stride, but Kimberly Menzies and Usman are currently completely dead in the bedroom when it comes to romance. Older American Kimberly is head-over-heels for the Nigerian aspiring musician. However, Usman made it clear that his “super fan” Kimberly is just his “potential girlfriend.” Although Kimberly is eager to be intimate with Usman, he showed far more interest in the PS4 and laptop she bought him. 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days viewers think it’s painfully clear that Usman is using Kimberly and isn’t attracted to her sexually.
