Viewers have taken to the Internet to showcase their feelings about the 54-year-old’s looks, personality, and relationship with 23-year-old Rosemarie.

Few could forget the April 12 episode when Ed asked Rosemarie to shave her legs the morning after they consummated their relationship. One fan delivered a scathing response to Ed’s blunt request. This meme (below) openly mocks Ed’s stout appearance, as well as the hirsute dis heard ’round the world.

While Ed’s quirky mannerisms have made him an Internet sensation, some of his behaviors have attracted the ire of viewers who disapprove of his criticisms about Rosemarie’s hygiene and appearance. One fan wrote, “He is the last person who should be commenting on anything…. I too have been an Ed defender (only in as far as his appearance) but his behavior and exploitation of a girl in a 3rd world country is sickening.” Another commenter weighed in on Rosemarie and Ed’s awkward “morning after” in this meme about waking up.

When Ed asked Rosemarie for a kiss or “halik” in Tagalog (her language), there was a collective shudder that rippled through TV Land. Here’s a meme marrying the popular card game, UNO, and Big Ed’s saucy request for a smooch. Big Ed seemed to like the post, even though it basically says a losing hand is better than making out with him.

Someone with too much time on their hands dug deep through the hallowed halls of Disney to compare Big Ed to the matchmaker from Mulan. The best thing about this meme? It’s accuracy…at least where the purple kimono is concerned.

Ed was diagnosed with Klippel-Feil syndrome, which is why he has limited range of motion and a shorter neck. One fan couldn’t help but use this meme to poke fun at Ed’s stiff head and shoulders (see below). They also didn’t object to using Rosemarie to drive home the insult.

Finally, this 90 Day loyalist was so disgusted with Ed’s blunt communication with Rosemarie, she noted his resemblance to beloved nursery rhyme superstar, Humpty Dumpty. Adding to the original artist’s rendering, scribbled-in hair was added for dramatic (and let’s face it, comedic) effect.
