90 Day Fiancé: Biniyam’s Wedding Video Reveals American Ex-Wife Bria

Warning signs and red flags go hand in hand with 90 Day Fiancé. When fans learned that Ariela Weinberg’s boyfriend Biniyam Shibre was previously married to another American, they thought it was history repeating itself (for a green card, of course.) Now that the show has pregnant Ariela visiting Ethiopia to deliver their baby together, a video of Biniyam’s wedding with ex-wife Bria has surfaced.

Fans will recall Ariela sharing the news of Biniyam’s earlier marriage to an American from an older episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Back then it was revealed that the 29-year-old Ethiopian has been in a serious relationship with an American woman and also has a 2-year-old son. Ariela’s brother had raised concerns about Biniyam using his sister for a green card, considering the family had not met him before.

The expectant mother, who is also a recent divorcee, defended their “genuine” relationship. Biniyam on the other hand, who’d met Ariela while she was on a trip in Ethiopia, was shown having a conversation where his friends referred to a “mistake he had done before.” He’d then shared how he and his ex had been together for 6-8 months after which they got pregnant. The couple remained married for four years before the wife decided to stay back in America with their son. Hawkeyed fans of the hit TLC show have now unearthed a wedding video along with a few more details of Biniyam and his ex-wife, who’s been identified as Bria.

It was a dance club in Addis Ababa, where the 90 Day Fiancé star met Bria from Iowa while she was there to work with impoverished children. Starcasm reports that the two were married in June 2016 in a rushed Ethiopian ceremony. The couple was then expecting their son Simon and Bria wanted to fly Biniyam with her to the USA on a visitor’s visa for the childbirth but the document was denied. Bria, flew to America nonetheless to attend her sister’s wedding but stayed back due to the baby having a birth defect. Strings were pulled and Biniyam was given entry to the USA on humanitarian parole to see his son’s birth in February 2017. The couple later got married in an American ceremony at a Christian church in New London in July 2017 which can be seen in the video. The highlights also show a shirtless Biniyam perform an athletic Dirty Dancing inspired routine with Bria. A bonus glimpse of their son in the video is what fans loved the most. What exactly made the couple’s wedding fall apart is now yet known but Biniyam seems to have moved on as The Other Way shows him very much in love with Ariela. Bria too seems to happily engaged according to reports. Will the plot of his previous marriage be further fleshed out by TLC or will his earlier visa issues affect his relationship with Ariela?
