90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Kenneth Niedermeier is happily married to Armando Rubio and the father of four has never had an ex-wife. Fan favorites Armando and Kenny are currently staring in season 3 of the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off showcasing their obstacle-laden journey to the aisle. The unproblematic couple quickly became franchise favorites due to Kenny and Armando’s drama-free relationship. However, Kenny and Armando’s biggest hurdle so far has been to get the Rubio family to accept their son’s sexuality. And over time, fans have figured that while Armando has a tragic story about his ex-wife’s death, Kenny grew up in a gay-friendly community, and didn’t have problems in raising kids by himself.

Still, since the past few 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way episodes, Kenny has slowly started losing fan support. There have been discussions about Kenny disregarding Armando’s family’s progress, especially after Armando Dr. had the heartwarming chat showing he accepted the couple. St. Petersburg resident Kenny has been called out for not trying to learn his partner’s language. Kenny has been comparing his own journey to that of Armando, expecting everything to be just as smooth-sailing. Previews reveal that Armando will soon want a baby, which might lead to differences between him and Kenny, who’s going to become a grandfather again.

Along with Cassidy, who’s been a major part of Kenny and Armando’s 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way storyline, the Florida man has two more daughters, Taylor and Madison, who are all triplets. His son Bryson is the oldest and Kenny also has a grandson Cooper. But those wanting some ex-wife drama in Armando and Kenny’s life were disappointed. Back in August 2020, Kenny has come clean about faking a marriage with a woman who was his friend so that he could have children. All of Kenneth’s babies have been born via in-vitro fertilization. Only heterosexual couples could have the treatment in the 1990s when Kenny became a father, so he enlisted his friend’s help and faked that they were married.

All that Kenny had to do was sign a paper at the doctor’s office to pretend that he was married to his children’s mom. “In any case, I was never married,” Kenny confirmed during a heart-to-heart Instagram Q&A session with his fans. However, he did have two serious relationships before he started dating Armando. Kenny raised his kids in Florida and he stayed there for 16 years. In an interview with Tampa Bay Times, Kenny spoke about how easy and safe it was for him to be himself and raise his children openly as a gay man in the area owing to its diversity and openness.

Former property manager Kenny was raised in Toledo, Ohio, where he lived through a happy childhood, but left his home when he found out there was something different about himself. “I came to Florida to see if I could find myself. One night, I got ready and went to a gay club. And, ba-da! I was home,” Kenny shared in an emotional confession on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Kenny’s mom was a very strong moral catholic and he his dad was a football coach. He came out at 19, Kenny did it by writing an eight-page letter to his parents and their first words were, “Don’t worry about it. You’re fine.” After getting married, Kenny is also a father to Armando’s daughter Hannah. And while he may have never had a wife, Kenny’s kids prove how well the 90 Day Fiancé star has shaped their lives, and given them a comfortable environment to grow in just like the one he had.
