The forbidden romance of Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh make them one of the most popular couples of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. While being a victim of catfishing made Jenny fall in love with Sumit even harder, it was his lies later that created havoc in the TLC couple’s lives. But in true reality TV fashion, Jenny and Sumit also gave fans countless moments of panic and confusion as they still stay in India together without being married. Palm Springs’ resident Jenny was 60 when she was first introduced on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1. Fans saw Jenny packing her bags for her second-ever trip to India as she waited for her visa to arrive. The reason for it being Jenny moving to India permanently to be with Sumit, her 30-year-old boyfriend in Delhi, who she’d actually met on Facebook while he pretended to be someone else. Strangely enough, Jenny had met Sumit’s catfish personality Michael Jones, 25, sometime around 2012 and had also started calling him “hubby” before he revealed his true self to her, which she also found “cute.” Immediately after, Jenny had visited Sumit’s house in Delhi while pretending to be his friend and stayed there, with his parents for four months while also indulging in a physical relationship. During her second visit 90 Day Fiancé fans saw Jenny quit her resort job and took out all her savings of $6,000 before moving to India, but it was after staying there with Sumit for the entirety of the season that she realized he was married.

Sometime between the 90 Day Fiancé’s Jenny’s first and second India trip, Sumit was married off in an arranged ceremony, which he kept as a lie from Jenny. And after a violent showdown between her, Sumit’s in-laws and parents, during which he was also threatened to be put into jail, Jenny moved back to America. Back home, Jenny had three daughters, and four grandchildren, including Christina who showed up on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way with her wife Jen. Jenny’s other daughter is Dominique who’s couch she had occupied while she was back in America, while her third child’s details are not yet known. As revealed by Sumit’s lover herself, she was married for 15 years to a man to left her for somebody else, and Christina often keeps sharing pictures of her father, who Jenny probably never married.

The recently concluded 90 Day Fiancé season showed Sumit finally getting his divorce but while getting emotionally blackmailed by his mother Sahna refused to marry Jenny. After having waited for a proposal from her desi partner for 8 years, Jenny settled for a promise ring but is somehow still staying in Uttar Pradesh, India, with Sumit possibly having found a visa loophole. While Jenny refrains from posting on Instagram these days, the 90 Day Fiancé celeb is active on Facebook where she documents life in India while dealing with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. She and Sumit often go on walks to stay fit, while 90 Day Fiancé’s Jenny recently celebrated her 62nd birthday and a bright Diwali in India. A recent video of Jenny on her Facebook with her dancing to singer Daler Mehndi’s “Tunak Tunak Tun” on New Year’s Eve surprised a lot of 90 Day Fiancé fans, while she’s also expressed how much she likes Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar.

Currently, Sumit and Jenny appear on the Discovery Plus spinoff 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Strikes Back, but chances are they might get another season of their original show as they are still not married. If not that, Jenny and Sumit can always try auditioning for another reality show as they wanted to get on Catfish too eight years back. Sahna and Jenny still remain at odds due to the age difference, but for 90 Day Fiancé fans, her love story with Sumit has gained the couple tonnes of supportive fans.
