After talking to each other for about a year, the Kentucky native Paul traveled to Brazil to live with Karine. That’s when they first filmed for 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 1, which premiered on August 6, 2017. Just like any other couple, they had major problems to overcome. Karine didn’t know much English, and Paul didn’t speak Portuguese.

Still, the couple tried to work on their communication issues and eventually tied the knot in November 2017. Paul and Karine may have made at least $9,000 each and a total of $18,000 from season 1, considering the season had 13 episodes. Season 2 had only 10 episodes, so they may have received $7,500 each and a total amount of $15,000 as a couple.

Paul and Karine welcomed their first son, Pierre, in March 2019 and got the golden opportunity to be on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1. The show was released in June 2019 and had 20 episodes. For this spin-off, Paul and Karine at least got a paycheck of $12,500 each and a total of $25,000. This time, Karine uprooted her life from Brazil and moved to the United States. Reportedly, TLC pays a higher amount to film Happily Ever After?, which is between $2,000 to $7,500 an episode. This season had 15 episodes, so Paul must have received at least $30,000.

If the Brazilian native Karine, who recently returned on Instagram, was able to secure a work permit in America, she would have also received $30,000. Since Paul and Karine were going through were facing challenging circumstances at the time, they were absent from the Tell-All episodes. All in All, this couple may have raked in a total of $118,000 after appearing on all the different spin-offs. Now, Paul and Karine’s main source of income appears to be Cameo. It is an online service through which fans can request their favorite to record a personalized message for them at a price. Paul and Karine charge $27 per video message. So far, they have recorded around 610 messages, judging by the number of reviews. For 610 videos at $27 each, they must have made around $16,470.

So, Paul and Karine have made about $134,470 from Cameo and all the 90 Day Fiance spin-offs. But they have the potential to earn more, at least through Cameo. The former 90 Day Fiancé star Asuelu Pulaa asks for $69 per video message. David & Annie charge $57 per message. Paul can also increase his price and ask for a minimum of $50 for one video message. Nevertheless, this former 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? couple Paul and Karine don’t appear to be struggling financially anymore. They are leading a happy life in Brazil, according to their social media pictures.
