90 Day Fiancé star Jasmine Pineda used Instagram to reveal how Gino Palazzolo cared for her when she was hospitalized for seven days. Gino, 51, and Jasmine, 34, recently got engaged on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. The occasion, although joyous, did confuse some TLC viewers who thought Jasmine made a terrible mistake by forgiving Gino, who violated her trust by sharing her private photos with an ex. Because Jasmine yelled her lungs out at Gino, threatened to sue him and spoke of how she never knew the “real” him, her now justifying his “weird and creepy” behavior is something that’s quite contrasting.

The same Jasmine who took offense at Gino for giving her a cheap electric toothbrush and demanded that he pay for her $2,500 island trip is also okay with his cheap ring. While Gino himself was hesitant to propose to Jasmine with a fake diamond, Jasmine surprised 90 Day Fiancé fans and him by saying that she loves it. She claimed that Gino traveling 2,300 miles just to meet her in the pandemic matters more to her than a $270 ring. No diamond equals the efforts and love Gino has shown to Jasmine. Fans don’t get to see this side of Gino on 90 Day Fiancé, and Jasmine is making sure she reveals why she’s in love with him through social media.

Some of Jasmine’s recent Instagram Stories were troubling as they showed photos of her from a hospital bed. With a face covered by a mask and thick glasses, this wasn’t the glamorous Jasmine that fans are used to seeing on TV every Sunday night. The picture was a screenshot of a video call between her and Gino. “I got hospitalized for 7 days because of my arrhythmia,” Jasmine revealed. Jasmine posted the photo again, this time tagging Gino’s Instagram account.

“You were always there for me even when we had never met in person by then,” Jasmine wrote for her fiancé. In a different photo, which was also a screengrab of her and Gino chatting on video, a tired-looking Jasmine could be seen wearing a Holter monitor on her chest. The machine is used to continuously record heart rhythms. “I was feeling like trash those days. Still you kept me smiling,” Jasmine added. The former American lit teacher recently opened up about the time she was hospitalized for a week for having irregular heartbeats.

Jasmine used to faint and feel like her heart was about to explode as a little kid. It was only after she reached adulthood that Jasmine was diagnosed with a prolapsed valve and ventricular arrhythmia. Jasmine needs to take two kinds of medication for her entire life and has to visit a cardiologist three times a year, but she hasn’t been told to have any surgeries yet. However, Jasmine did get “very sick” when she was taken to the hospital. That was when Jasmine started looking at life with a fresh perspective and now tries to enjoy being alive as much as she can. Jasmine knows that life can be too short. But with Gino becoming a part of it and bringing her true happiness, she feels she’s not wasting it away. 90 Day Fiancékeeps portraying Gino as someone who never considers Jasmine’s feelings with his lack of emotional understanding. However, his future wife does know him best and appreciates it.
