She also told her Instagram family how she put on extra pounds and what she did to drop it. The former bodybuilder recently faced a lot of backlash for her judgemental remarks on plastic surgery. Rebecca Parrott revealed on the 90 Day Fiancé Tell-All that she had cosmetic procedures to lose a pouch of fat from her lower belly. When it came to Julia, she tried to belittle women who were supporting plastic surgeries. She said people who opt for artificial treatments to enhance their looks are “lazy.” Since Julia has been a fitness enthusiast, she challenged people to exercise instead of losing fat through surgery. Her critical remarks weren’t well-received by her co-stars or many 90 Day Fiancé fans. Yara called out Julia for sharing her opinion as a judgment. Rebecca also added that exercising doesn’t help get rid of wrinkles and loose skin.

She posted an image from her bodybuilding days and said that after landing in the United States, she had suffered “hormonal imbalance.” Due to “food, flights, and stress,” she had gained weight. Even though she was training, running after her dogs, and helping on the farm, she didn’t lose weight.

The daughter-in-law of Betty and Ron Gibbs then tried doing yoga, which she didn’t like or perceive as a sport. She started doing yoga once a week and eventually saw a result. Her weight got back to normal, so she continued doing it. She has launched an online fitness program through which interested people can have a one-on-one workout session with her. They can book her for 30 minutes for a home workout, training in the gym, or yoga and stretching. She asks for $40 for a session and also gives nutrition advice to her clients.
