Kim Menzies declared “it’s over” between Usman Umar, aka Sojaboy, only to get laughed at by 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days viewers. 50-year-old Kim flew all the way from San Diego to Zanzibar to meet Usman, 32, with whom she’d been talking for a year online. Meanwhile, Usman considered Kim his “potential” girlfriend and kept avoiding her advances on 90 Day Fiancé, despite Kim making her intentions clear. Kim wasn’t one to take no for an answer and finally pressured Usman into making things “official.” However, Usman told Kim about his relationship with a woman named Zara that he kept a secret from her. Kim wanted Usman to make a grand gesture, and he laughed it off.

For Usman, who’s been accused of tricking older, American women into marriage in hopes of getting a Green Card, Kim was someone who could help fulfill his dreams. But to his credit, even Usman hesitated to jump into a relationship with Kim, claiming he wanted to take things slow after his failed marriage with ex-wife Lisa Hamme. Babygirl Lisa was jealous of Usman’s female fans, and when Kim lashed out at him after knowing about Zara, Usman saw the similarities between the two American ladies. However, Kim’s anger towards Usman was manipulative since she demanded “something big” from him to prove he only had feelings for her.

After Usman found Kim’s warning about her leaving for the United States if he didn’t give in to her demands funny, Kim threw her drink in his face. According to a preview of episode 14 on 90 Day Fiancé‘s YouTube channel, Kim headed to the room to pack her bags because she was leaving that very night. In her confessional, Kim said that she and Usman had only one day left in Tanzania. “But I don’t even wanna spend one more night here because I know it’s over, like I know it’s over,” Kim told the 90 Day Fiancé producers, which made fans laugh. However, Kim also received a text from Usman that very moment asking her to meet him. Kim suddenly became giddy with excitement and agreed to meet him while continuously blushing. Kim giggled and played with her hair as she admitted she was happy. One fan said, “How did her mood switch up that fast? One second she says ‘it’s over’ then the next second she wants to meet him.

Another fan added, “The part that made me laugh she was adamant about leaving she was packing up and headstrong with it until she got the text then she started grinning like a schoolgirl on a Saturday night LMAO.” Someone else joked that Usman realized his chance at getting a visa was going to leave in a few hours, so he had to do a “grand gesture” quick to please Kim. “Usman is a hustler and I can’t wait for his next season,” said a different commenter. However, some fans think that Kim is playing mind games just to get a ring on her finger. It seems she’s also gotten herself a fresh manicure.

Given the way Kim has acted so desperate all season on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, she was certainly not going to leave at all. Kim wanted to throw a tantrum to see how much she could push Usman into doing things her way by threatening to cut ties with him. In this case, Usman surely is wanting to make Kim stay so that she can keep treating him to expensive gadgets and more in the future. It also means Usman had no feelings whatsoever for Kim, but she doesn’t mind it as long as she gets to be in a relationship with him.
