90 Day Fiancé: Libby Reveals Where She Was Born & When She Moved To Tampa

While replying to a 90 Day Fiancé fan, Elizabeth Potthast revealed where she is originally from and when she first moved to Tampa, Florida. Many fans were under the impression that former actress and model, known to fans as Libby, was born in Florida since she rarely talks about childhood home on social media. 90 Day Fiancé viewers first met her when she was 27 years old and was featured on 90 Day Fiancé season 5 in 2017 with Andrei Castravet, who came to the United States on a K-1 visa. The couple first met in Ireland, where Andrei worked as a bouncer and Elizabeth was traveling.

This 90 Day Fiancé duo seemed very much in love, but Andrei didn’t share a friendly relationship with his in-laws, especially Libby’s siblings. On 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, Elizabeth’s father, Chuck Potthast, proposed a family reunion in Maryland, hoping that a get-together would resolve his family’s conflicts. Andrei and the Potthast family decided to road trip in an RV to see Chuck’s father and sister in Maryland. The two-day road trip turned into a disaster because Elizabeth’s sisters continued to antagonize Andrei throughout the journey. After reaching Chuck’s sister’s home, Andrei had another heated argument with Elizabeth’s brother, Charlie Potthast.

Since Elizabeth drove to Maryland for the family reunion, a curious fan asked her on Instagram, “Are you originally from Maryland?” The 90 Day Fiancé star replied that she and all of her siblings were born in Maryland. Elizabeth revealed that she moved to Tampa when she was about seven years old. The TLC star further elaborated that most of her family members are living in Maryland. During the show, it was revealed that Elizabeth’s aunt and grandfather were still residing in the Old Line State.

An old family picture reveals that Elizabeth has five siblings, three brothers, and two sisters, though only three of her siblings agreed to participate in the show. Many fans were shocked to learn that Chuck has two more sons and they didn’t agree to be filmed. It seems like Elizabeth’s father moved out of Maryland to build his own business in Florida by investing in real estate. Now, he has multiple rental properties in the Sunshine State and his kids are also working for his real estate firm as realtors and property managers.

Elizabeth seems very happy living in Florida, although she did say that she recently had a great time in Andrei’s home country, Moldova. Luckily, Chuck and the former 90 Day Fiancé star Andrei have already established their house-flipping business in Florida, which seems to be thriving, so things might actually work out for the best for everyone.
