Mahogany never spoke to Ben on a video call and had taken a loan of $1000 from him which made her come across as a scammer. Mahogany claimed she was too shy to talk to Ben but posted revealing photos on social media. However, the real Mahogany looked nothing like the woman in the pictures making viewers wonder if she was a paid actor.

Mahogany lied to Ben about much more than just her real face. Ben revealed Mahogany told him she was 24 years old when she was just 22. She lived in a rented apartment in San Bartolo and claimed it was her own. Some viewers suspected Mahogany didn’t have a Peruvian accent and could be a producer plant in a fake storyline. Mahogany also claimed Ben was the catfish and not her since he didn’t look like the muscular man she’d seen in his modeling photos. While Ben came across as a predator for pursuing Mahogany despite all the holes in her story, viewers can’t bring themselves to trust Mahogany either.

That’s part of the reason why they were surprised when Mahogany announced she’s on Cameo. In her Instagram Stories (shared by Reddit user secretlyhidden92), viewers first noticed that Mahogan was using a filter and spoke in an unfamiliar accent. “Hey guys, it’s Mahogany. I just wanna say two things really fast, really quickly so…” she said in her first story. Mahogany asked her Instagram followers to go see the Tell-All and described it with three words, “hot, hot, hot.” The second thing Mahogany shared was her new Cameo page. “So excited, so happy for that,” said Mahogany before adding her signature catchphrase “Oh my God” in conclusion.

Mahogany claims she didn’t want to make her Cameo page. “But sharing things with you is what I want to do,” she declared. “She watched Bridgerton and that’s her new personality,” wrote TLC viewer DariaMorg. Meanwhile, user fonziesgrl posted, “I swear she’s doing the Anna Delvey accent.” Followers also pointed out Mahogany used a filter to make her face look thinner, skin smoother, and hair lighter than on 90 Day Fiancé. Some also observed that Mahogany was speaking English fluently in the video, while on the show, she communicates using a translator.

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 is almost over, with just one half of the Tell-All that’s left to premiere. However, there are several unanswered questions about Mahogany. Ben wanted to find out what Mahogany was trying to hide from him, but she again abandoned him during the finale. The reunion episode is what viewers are counting on to finally find the missing puzzles pieces of the Mahogany mystery and figure out why she lied about her age and uses filters. Ben doesn’t seem to mind Mahogany editing her photos and says it’s art while her age was never really a problem for him. Perhaps Mahogany herself will spill all her secrets in a Cameo if a curious follower ends up asking the right questions.
