The Family Chantel season 2 had everything the fans have come to expect from Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno’s dysfunctional family: relationship problems, the distrust of a foreign fiancé, and sibling rivalry. Now that Pedro and Chantal have been married for a few years, they are chiming in on their brother’s soon-to-be bride Angennette, who is from the Philippines. With Pedro and Chantel starting to act like the experts in international love, we took a look back at their story, particularly on who Pedro really is.

Pedro Jimeno first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé season 4, and the drama started right away thanks to a lie that Chantel told her parents about Pedro’s visa. She told them that Pedro was in America on a student visa because she worried that they’d think he was only in the US to get a green card. This is exactly what they worried about once Chantel dropped the bomb that Pedro was on a K-1 visa and that they would get married in 90 days. Things went from bad to worse when Chantel met Pedro’s mom and sister. They didn’t like her, and vice-versa. With their families not exactly on their sides, Pedro and Chantel still stuck together this entire time, and their marriage is actually one of the more solid ones in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise – which isn’t saying much. With their background in mind, here are some facts about the life of Pedro now and before meeting Chantel.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Now a famous 90 Day Fiancé star, Pedro Jimeno is from Santo Domingo, which is the capital of the Dominican Republic. He was born on October 3, 1991, making him 29 years old and a Libra. He was born in Mao, Valverde, Dominican Republic. His mom is called Lidia, and his younger sister is called Nicole. Not much is known about his father, except that he left when Pedro was very young. His father now allegedly has a different separate family. Pedro’s mom and sister have been big parts of Chantel and Pedro’s storylines on both 90 Day Fiancé and The Family Chantel. They lived together in Santo Domingo until the COVID-19 pandemic hit, forcing Nicole to stay in New York. Nicole was in school getting a degree in journalism, though it’s unclear if she graduated before the pandemic began. During a particular episode of The Family Chantel, viewers learned more about her boyfriend Alejandro, who is a manager at a cellphone store in New York City.

Pedro is 5’11” and has openly discussed his various weight fluctuations on The Family Chantel. While in the United States, he put on some weight as he settled into married life, weighing 195 pounds at one point. He then discovered Muay Thai and now weighs about 165 pounds, according to his Instagram. Before moving to America, Pedro studied at the Technological Institute of The Americas in the Dominican Republic. He worked as a Spanish tutor, which is how he met Chantel. Her teacher introduced her to Pedro when Chantel visited the DR, and as Chantel kept visiting, their relationship blossomed. Pedro currently works in a warehouse, but he wants to go back to school as soon as Chantel starts working as an RN. In the meantime, Pedro streams on Twitch, where he has gained 3.3k followers. This explains the expensive gaming setup you can see in Pedro and Chantal’s living room.

Besides the Twitch streaming, Pedro keeps a pretty low profile. His Instagram is mostly selfies, pictures with Chantel, and Muay Thai videos. He doesn’t make sponsored posts, nor does he respond to fan questions, unlike many 90 Day Fiancé stars.
