Controversial 90 Day Fiancé couple Tarik Myers and Hazel Cagalitan are reportedly back together, less than a month after the two publicly split on social media. Viewers first met this couple in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2 when Tarik left his Virginia Beach home to meet Hazel in her home country of the Philippines. The couple also starred, 90 Day Fiancé season 8, and despite their issues with their former shared girlfriend, Minty, they tied the knot before the end of the season, in June 2020.

Neither Tarik nor Hazel explained to fans what happened, but in early December 2021, Tarik began filling his Instagram account with clues that the two were no longer together. He posted multiple “trust no one” posts as well as a video of himself taking down the Philippines flag from the wall of his apartment, and he also unfollowed Hazel. The Virginia Beach man then revealed that Hazel was no longer living with him and “had no choice” than to go back to the Philippines. Hazel then started a GoFundMe campaign to raise $10,000 so she could get a therapist and a lawyer, claiming that her relationship with Tarik was both emotionally and physically abusive. Tarik denied these claims and alleged on his Instagram that Hazel was saying this so she could stay in the U.S.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Well-known 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates recently revealed on a live stream that Tarik and Hazel have rekindled their romance once again, “on Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day.” The blogger said the couple was “in the car together,” although it’s unclear where he saw this happen or where he got this information. John also called Tarik and Hazel “Paul and Karine in training,” referring to Tarik and Hazel’s fellow Before the 90 Days castmates Paul and Karine Staehle, who are well-known for filming their volatile fights and putting them on social media. John said he doesn’t believe Tarik and Hazel have gotten to “Paul and Karine level,” but that they “show signs” that they could.

John also made a reference to around six months ago, when Tarik unfollowed Hazel, and she posted a strange video of herself walking alongside a highway in the middle of the night. That situation was quickly resolved (although never explained). In his video, the blogger also stated that Hazel’s GoFundMe has been taken down. A quick look shows that it is no longer accepting donations. Tarik is also following Hazel on Instagram again and has changed his bio back to read “#Tarzel,” the couple’s moniker, along with a heart emoji. He previously had archived all of the photos of Hazel, including their wedding photos, but those are now back up on his Instagram as well.

Because this is not the first time that Tarik and Hazel have had a public blowout and then resolved things, it seems likely that it will not be the last. Although many 90 Day Fiancé fans were skeptical of Hazel’s commitment to Tarik, this couple also has lots of viewers rooting for them and the success of their relationship. John didn’t mention if the couple is living together again, so only time will tell what is next for this couple.
