While the 90 Day Fiancé franchise has presented a surprising number of successful and thriving couples, it has also featured many uncomfortable and creepy personalities over the past seven years. Viewers originally tuned in to the hit TLC show to follow international romances between various couples. However, a number of franchise villains quickly arose. The following list of franchise personalities have obtained notorious statuses for their creepy behavior towards their significant others or romantic partners in general.

One of the viewers’ biggest complaints in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise is the large age gaps between couples. Since the show focuses on romances between an American and someone from a different country, some viewers feel this creates scenarios when rich older Americans can prey on foreigners. Because a number of couples meet while the American is on vacation, this has also brought up the issue of sex tourism, which involves someone preying on underprivileged locals in other countries. The following franchise personalities have been accused of being serial creeps on multiple occasions. Discover which cast members displayed the worst behavior.

Big Ed Brown

“Big Ed” Brown is considered one of the biggest creeps in the extended franchise. The 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days star was 54 when he dated 23-year-old Rosemarie Vega. Viewers believed the older American took advantage of the impoverished single mother in the Philippines. Big Ed lied to Rose and was outright rude to her. From insulting her body hair to forcing her to have an STD test, Big Ed’s behavior made fans repeatedly uncomfortable. Viewers celebrated when Rose kicked Big Ed to the curb and carved out her own success.

However, Big Ed is still looking for love on 90 Day: The Single Life. Despite being in his mid-50s, the reality personality insists on dating women aged 28 to 34. Viewers watched as Big Ed essentially stalked one woman at her place of work before going in for a disastrous attempt at a kiss that involved zero consent on the woman’s behalf. The interaction left many viewers disturbed as they demanded that Big Ed be removed from the franchise. Overall, Big Ed is considered a serial creep who preys on younger women and only cares about his own feelings.

David Murphey

David Murphey is another man featured on the spin-off show who immediately rubbed viewers the wrong way. The wealthy American admitted to spending over $300,000 in pursuit of Ukrainian beauty Lana. The older man exclusively pursued young Ukrainian women for a decade before appearing on the show. TLC then essentially helped him hunt down Lana in Ukraine after she backed out of meeting him several times. This move left many viewers shocked and uneasy. No one, aside from David, was surprised when the duo did not end up together after the show.

Colt Johnson

Colt Johnson first appeared on season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé alongside his now ex-wife Larissa Lima. Viewers were left feeling uncomfortable with Colt’s oddly stoic reactions to drama and strangely close relationship with his mother. However, the mama’s boy was revealed to be an outright creep by his girlfriend Jess Caroline. Jess revealed that he had sent explicit photos of himself to multiple women and cheated on her while they were dating. Both Jess and Larissa have blasted Colt for mistreating them, cheating and being an all-around disaster of a partner. Colt is still dating on 90 Day: The Single Life. Like Big Ed, Colt’s search for love leaves viewers unsettled.

Paul Staehle

Paul Staehle has appeared on numerous franchise spin-off shows and has only raised fan concern over his erratic behavior. The husband of Karine Staehle and father to their two young children behaves in a way that leaves fans deeply unsettled. Paula and Karine share a bizarre and explosive relationship that is full of serious allegations. Karine recently confessed that she made up claims of Paul sexually and physically abusing her. However, both halves of the couple have obtained restraining orders against each other during fights. Paul will accuse Karine of infidelity at one moment and then shower his wife in affection the next. Many viewers believe Karine can’t stand her husband and that strange Paul is unhinged.

David Toborowksy

David Toborowksy was 48 when he appeared alongside his now-wife Annie Suwan on season 5. This was significant because 24-year-old Annie was just half of the older American’s age. The couple has become fan favorites for many, as David infamously herded water buffalo to help pay off his Thai wife’s dowry. However, many are also suspicious of David and his past. David’s friend Chris Thieneman not only sponsored Annie when David couldn’t afford to, but he initially let the couple stay with him and his wife Nikki. Many fans are suspicious of David and Chris’s relationship and believe that the two men share scandalous secrets from their time in Thailand that they wish to conceal from Nikki. Fans also can’t forget how transactional David and Annie’s relationship initially appeared.

Stephanie Davison

Stephanie Davison is not exempt from receiving the label of creep just because she is a woman. The older American had a troubling season 8 on 90 Day Fiancé that left many fans concerned for her well-being and potential substance abuse. Stephanie also exhibits many problematic traits that call her integrity into question. The 52-year-old raised eyebrows when she picked up 27-year-old Ryan while on vacation in Belize. Fans accused the older American of preying on an impoverished man, especially when she dumped her fiancé in favor of his cousin. Stephanie hooked up with Ryan’s cousin Harris during a fight and later swaps fiancés after splitting with Ryan. Harris is clearly looking for a chance to make it in America and many viewers are alarmed over Stephanie preying on people in vulnerable positions.

Andrew Kenton

Andrew Kenton established himself as the main season 8 90 Day Fiancé villain after many other cast members gave him a run for his money. However, the California daycare worker pulled ahead due to the way he treats his now ex-fiancée Amira Lollysa. Fans celebrated Amira for dumping Andrew and consider the French beauty to be absolutely out of Andrew’s league. Andrew has earned fan ire for manipulating and controlling his fiancée. Many find his behavior post-show to be creepy, as Andrew remains laser-focused on casting his ex in a negative light. His determination to skirt responsibility and bring Amira down does not sit well with fans.
