Varya Malina of 90 Day Fiancé recently talked about the “prey pretending” strategy that most Russian women like to follow in the dating world. Varya is from Russia, and she was first featured on the show alongside her Tennessee-based boyfriend, Geoffrey Paschel. The couple met through an international dating site and documented their first-ever meeting on cameras. Even though Varya and Geoffrey got engaged towards the end of the season, many viewers don’t know if they are still together or planning to get married.

After keeping their relationship status a secret for over a year, former 90 Day Fiancé star Geoffrey recently dropped a hint suggesting that he is still with Varya. Many fans also spotted the Russian native Varya seemingly cooking in Geoffrey’s kitchen. In turn, a fan on Reddit claimed that their aunt saw Varya and Geoffrey together at a DMV office in Florida. The fan also made claims that the couple is already married, and that’s probably why Varya decided to get a driver’s license in the United States.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Without dropping any hints about her relationship status, former radio presenter Varya Malina wrote on Instagram about how different American and Russian women are when it comes to dating. She posted a gorgeous picture (included below) from Rosemary Beach, FL, and captioned the post with, “Americans are definitely more initiative in relationships.” In turn, she believes that most Russian women prefer “playing a coy – ‘a prey pretending’ strategy in order to lure men.” The 32-year-old beauty Varya Malina has seen that Russian men usually make the first move. Alas, in other parts of the world, the rules can be different.

Varya added, “It’s harder for men to know how to behave on dates in the era of the #MeToo movement. They are extra cautious and even would rather be approached by a confident woman.” As such, Varya wants to encourage women to let men take charge and “man up.” She thinks that relationships work best when the man “has his hands on the steering wheel. But the girl shouldn’t be just a passenger, she should be a co-captain helping navigate the relationships along the way.” While many 90 Day Fiancé fans liked Varya’s IG post, others thought her advice isn’t practical in this modern age.

A fan commented, “I agree with you. Men should man up, but women need to be open to that happening.” Another fan wrote, “I don’t think it matters who makes the first move, rather go with your heart.” It is strange that Varya is open to discussing dating strategies but wants to keep her relationship with Geoffrey a secret. She avoids replying to fans who ask about her relationship with her on-screen fiancé. It seems like the former reality TV star Varya is still abiding by her contract with TLC. She is probably hoping to get cast for another 90 Day Fiancé spin-off in the near future.
