90 Day Fiance: What Happened To Josh & Aleksandra After Season 3

Josh Strobel and Aleksandra Iarovikova appeared on 90 Day Fiancé season 3 in 2015. Fans of the TLC show want to know exactly what they are to these days.

Aleksandra and Josh met in the Czech Republic when they were both visiting separately. Josh was on a Mormon mission trip from Idaho, and Aleksandra was studying there, although she is originally from Russia. After their chance encounter, Josh gave Aleksandra a book about Mormonism. Aleksandra was a party girl who was looking to turn her life around, and Josh gave her the perfect opportunity. She soon converted to Mormonism. The two kept in contact, with Josh making many trips to visit Aleksandra. He proposed to her after a year, and they filed the K-1 visa. Since they had already known each other for quite a while, the road to marriage (and their time on 90 Day Fiancé) was smooth. Their families already knew each other and were very happy for the couple. Josh and Aleksandra got married in 2015, in an LDS church.

Since the show, a lot has changed for the couple. They are still happily married, but they now have two children. Their first child Kaya was born in March of 2016, and their second child JJ was born in 2019. Josh and Aleksandra faced an unfortunate controversy after Kaya’s birth. Because Kaya had a darker complexion than her parents, fans of the show began to suspect that Josh was not Kaya’s father. The couple endured a lot of speculation and hate online, as Aleksandra was branded a cheater. Aleksandra says her biological father is from Cuba and that Kaya resembles him, according to Starcasm. Since then, they’ve become much more private, refusing to appear on television. The Aleksandra Strobel Instagram page is still public, but she rarely posts family updates.

Josh from 90 Day Fiancé graduated from Creighton University in 2016. He later enrolled in medical school in Brisbane, Australia. The family moved to Brisbane in 2018 but has since returned to Idaho. Josh is now in the final year of his surgical rotation, as per Aleksandra’s Instagram. Aleksandra graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho earlier this year, with a Bachelor’s degree in public health. She celebrated with a photo of her standing outside the University, which she posted to Instagram. See the photo below:

The couple faced a stressful situation earlier this year when their son JJ had to have surgery. He had an angioma (a growth made of blood vessels) on his face. Luckily, the surgery went well, and the tumor is benign. Aleksandra detailed the process of surgery and recovery on her Instagram, sharing the progression from grief and frustration to relief. Hopefully, the next year brings only positive things for this 90 Day Fiancé couple. Fans are wishing JJ a speedy recovery.
