90 Day Fiancé: Why Jasmine Pineda Is The Season 5 Tell All MVP

Viewers just got their first serving of the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 Tell All, and Jasmine Pineda was definitely the star. The popular 90 Day Fiancé spin-off wrapped up season 5 with an emotional episode full of goodbyes, but it was Jasmine and her fiancé Gino Palazzolo’s parting that was the most heartbreaking. Though Gino is regularly trashed by audiences, Jasmine seems to truly love him, and she was clearly devastated that he was leaving Panama. During the Tell All, Gino said that after he went home, they applied for the K-1 visa and five months later, they’re still waiting for it to be approved. The couple’s entire segment was highly dramatic, and Jasmine was by far the standout among the entire cast.

Though all of her castmates had interesting drama and relationship developments, Jasmine completely stole the show with her hilarious comments and surprisingly relatable feelings. Even Jasmine’s critics can agree she was amazing television. Thankfully, the Tell All Part 2 is still on the way, so viewers haven’t seen the last of Jasmine.

Her segment with Gino took up a lot of time but was extremely compelling. Jasmine had no problem revealing embarrassing details about Gino, like what he appears to prefer over sex with her. Jasmine was utterly hysterical, and Gino’s visible discomfort just made the whole thing better for viewers watching. Jasmine threw out iconic lines like confetti, and her “I’m vegan but I want your freaking meat!” moment is probably one of the best in the franchise. She completely made the Tell All and in many cases spoke for the viewer when making comments about her castmates.

However, it was more than just her hilarious performance that made Jasmine so much better than she was throughout the season. Jasmine actually showed surprising restraint during the Tell All compared to how she’s been in the past. Viewers have seen what a tornado of fury Jasmine can be, and though she raised her voice on occasion, for the most part, Jasmine was cool, logical, and made a lot of sense in the Tell All. She pointed out that, unlike Gino, she’s never cheated or lied in their relationship. Jasmine copped to her jealousy issues as well, but it’s still true that Gino has been far more problematic. She’s done almost a complete 180, and while she used to be written off by viewers, on the Tell All, she was surprisingly sympathetic.

Luckily for audiences, there’s more Jasmine to come in the second half of the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Tell All. Though she’s not most viewers’ favorite Before the 90 Days season 5 cast member, Jasmine is a major standout on the Tell All. There’s no telling what instantly iconic comment she’ll make in Part 2, but viewers are surely in for a show.
