On 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Mike Berk and Ximena Morales’ relationship seems to be on its last legs, but despite Mike being a good candidate for 90 Day: The Single Life, he should avoid returning to the franchise for the time being. After cast members first appear in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise and get a taste of reality TV fame, they usually want more. With that said, Mike should ignore that instinct and go back to his regular life if he wants to find love.

Mike’s relationship with Ximena has always been cringe-worthy, but it’s taken an even deeper dive as of late. For one, Ximena has been pressuring Mike for money for cosmetic surgery. Then, when he came to Colombia to surprise her, she was less than thrilled. Ximena was pouty throughout Mike’s entire visit and claimed it was because she didn’t want him to see her until after her surgeries. As a result, Mike straight-up asked Ximena if she still loved him and she told him “no,” so it seems like this relationship was already on life support. Because he’s most likely single, Mike might be a prime candidate for The Single Life season 3. He might get the call from TLC, but it’s in Mike’s best interest to turn down to opportunity.

It’s also important for Mike to get more experience because his lack of past relationships did bring him to this point. Overall, Mike’s relationship with Ximena was transactional because he doesn’t know any other way to land a girl. Even though Mike definitely needs to date around, that journey should probably not be on The Single Life. Mike is already facing a tainted dating pool after having appeared in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. After all, there are many women out there who will want to date Mike for clout or for a story without having any real interest in him. Alas, going on The Single Life and dating while being filmed would make that even worse.

Mike has had a rough journey on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, and going on The Single Life directly after isn’t going to help heal his heart or increase his chances to find love. In fact, trying to date on the spin-off could be even more damaging to him than his toxic relationship with Ximena. Mike’s best bet for finding happiness is to focus on self-improvement and finding a woman who will have a genuine interest in him.
