Former 90 Day Fiancé cast member Lisa “Babygirl” Hamme has revealed a major clue which suggests Usman Umar AKA Sojaboy is faking his storyline with Kim Menzies. The ongoing 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 3 features Usman and Kim trying to spark a romance in Tanzania where he’s gone to film his music video “Zara.” While Kim still remains his “potential” girlfriend and “superfan,” Usman has been keeping his distance despite her wanting him to sleep in her room. This platonic nature of Kim and Usman’s relationship has fans questioning why they’re even a couple on the show. And Lisa seems to be adding fuel to the fire.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Usman’s Babygirl Lisa was once madly in love with him like Kim is and had flown to Nigeria in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days to become his wife. Like Kim, Lisa was also 50 years old, with Usman being 20 years her junior. Fans witnessed Lisa and Usman getting married in a small civil ceremony in Nigeria despite a near breakup. However, the Tell-All saw Usman revealing that Lisa had used the N-word which supposedly got her fired from TLC, and by December 2020, Usman confirmed that they were no longer together. Meanwhile, Lisa married Tracey a man she’d met in fifth grade on April 22, 2021. On the show, Usman spoke about his divorce from his unnamed “ex-wife” who was trying to sabotage his music career while 90 Day Fiancé refused to show Lisa in any flashbacks.

Lisa shocked fans earlier this month by claiming that she and Usman were still married when he was filming with Kim in Tanzania for his Sojaboy music video. Furthermore, Lisa claimed that she and Usman are still married to this day which is why Usman refers to Kim as his “potential” girlfriend. In a more recent Instagram Live that Lisa conducted with her rep Uncle Vickie as per InTouch, she and her friend Kelly mentioned the girl “Zara” who Sojaboy’s song is really about. This woman named Zara was supposed to be with Usman on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days and not Kim. Kelly claimed, “right before filming, they broke up,” which is why Sojaboy allegedly “picked Kimberly because he needed somebody.”

It appears that Zara, also an American woman, but closer to Usman’s age, was in a “full-on relationship” with the Nigerian singer. Moreover, Usman and Zara were seemingly also planning their marriage. Kelly spoke about Zara having a contract with TLC to do 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5. But “she jumped” according to Lisa. Surprisingly, Lisa also praised Zara by calling her “absolutely gorgeous” and “beautiful.” She confirmed that she’s seen Zara’s “picture.”

Another interesting claim by Lisa is that Usman invited Kim to Tanzania instead of his native Nigeria for a major reason. She accused Usman of never wanting to make his “family and friends to meet Kimberly.” Because that “is a major step for any Nigerian,” Lisa mentioned. Meanwhile, right before his 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 premiere, Usman had gone on record to declare that his feelings for Kim are authentic by saying, “I love her with all my bones, my heart” in an interview. This “love” is not evident between Usman and Kim on the show. But Kim and Usman are still on good terms after filming. Even though he’s goofed up by calling her his sister on Instagram, fans will have to count days down until the finale to find out if Kim and Usman ever were and are really together as a real 90 Day Fiancé couple.
