A new trailer for A.P. Bio season 4 has just been released, showcasing new threats, schemes, and even a cult. After premiering on NBC in 2018 to mixed reviews from critics, A.P. Bio was canceled after just two seasons, disappointing the show’s loyal following. Fans were relieved, however, when it was revealed last year that a third season would launch on Peacock, NBC’s streaming service. After season 3’s episode count was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many fans were left wondering if a fourth season would arrive to tie up the show’s loose story threads.

Much to the rejoice of fans, Peacock has just released the trailer for A.P. Bio season 4, which hints at some big events to come. The trailer reunites audiences with AP biology teacher, Jack Griffin (Glenn Howerton), Principle Ralph Durbin (Patton Oswalt), and Helen Henry Demarcus (Paula Pell), among others. With the trailer teasing a potentially destructive tornado, the formation of a student cult, and the arrival of a contentious figure from Griffin’s past, A.P. Bio‘s fourth season looks to be the boldest yet. Watch the full trailer below:

Bruce Campbell, best known for his work on the Evil Dead franchise, is joining the cast as Jack’s father, with the trailer teasing that he has been absent from Jack’s life for nearly twenty years. With immediate tensions evident between father and son, it remains to be seen what impact Campbell’s character will have on Jack’s life at Whitlock High School. Oswalt’s Principle Durbin similarly appears to be a source of stress in Jack’s life with his new uniform policy leading to the creation of a student cult of “mindless zombies.”

A.P. Bio is set to premiere on September 2nd exclusively on Peacock.
