Agent Venom Is Brought To Life In Pitch-Perfect Symbiote Cosplay

Flash Thomspon’s Agent Venom is one of the most badass antiheroes in all comics, and in a stunning new Marvel Comics cosplay from @nerdfit1, the symbiote shines in all of his black and white glory. The talented cosplayer showed off his Agent Venom costume on his Twitter account, which makes us long for more future appearances of Flash Thompson as Marvel’s coolest symbiote creature in his original form.

Since the very beginning, Flash Thompson has been a key player in Spider-Man’s Marvel Comics’ adventures, first appearing in Amazing Fantasy #15. Characterized initially as Peter Parker’s biggest high school bully who just so happened to be a Spider-Man superfan, Flash would later become a close ally to the hero. However, after high school, he would join the army and experience personal struggles before becoming a P.E. teacher. But, Flash would later rejoin the military and have both his legs amputated after suffering grave injuries during an attack in Iraq. Flash would accept an offer to bond with the Venom symbiote as part of the army’s symbiote super-soldier program, which allowed him to walk again when in his alien form. As Agent Venom, Thompson’s been a member of the Secret Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, while later becoming Agent Anti-Venom. After being killed against the Maker, he eventually was resurrected in the King in Black event.

On his Twitter account, cosplayer @nerdfit1 shared his take on Agent Venom. The look is ripped right from his first appearance in the symbiote suit from The Amazing Spider-Man #654 by Dan Slott, Fred Van Lente, Stefano Caselli, Marte Gracia, and VC’s Joe Caramagna. Agent Venom’s symbiote has the military-like armor details and the spikey shoulder pads the hero would later adopt. The look is brought together by a fittingly enormous white Agent Venom logo on the chest and a black and white helmet that captures the character’s badass nature.

@nerdfit1 also shared a closer look at the costume under light, which shows the details throughout the incredible cosplay.

From the back, Agent Venom looks just as cool.

Agent Venom is such a cool character from the pages of Marvel Comics, and it’s fantastic to see him brought to life in such a fun, inventive cosplay. Tackling a symbiote-based cosplay isn’t the easiest challenge, but @nerdfit1 did a stellar job with his Agent Venom ensemble. Hopefully, Marvel fans will see more of the hero soon.
