Season 5 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has at least one more shocking reveal in store with the identity of Kasius’ seer. ABC’s longest running Marvel show took on another brand new identity this season. Not only did Coulson and the rest of the team travel to space, but they’re also decades in the future. The changes have resulted in S.H.I.E.L.D. once again proving itself to be a worthy companion to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, they currently aren’t beholden to maintaining or screwing up continuity.

As if the future space setting wasn’t enough, the last few episodes have heavily involved the use of a seer. Robin helped Coulson and the team get off what is left of Earth, and she passed on how they will be able to save humanity in the process. But, it was then revealed that Kree leader Kasius (Dominic Rains) has a seer of his own. According to some of the cast members, the identity of this seer is quite shocking.

TVLine spoke to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Henry Simmons (Mack) and Natalia Cordova-Buckley (Yo-Yo) to ask about last week’s episode. They were asked about the final tease from the episode, and if they knew who Kasius’ seer is. Both of them do know who it is, and they agree it will be a shocking reveal.

Simmons: Let me tell you, when I first found out who this person is, I was shocked.

Cordova-Buckley: People say, ‘Oh, it’s shocking,’ but no-no-no, I was shocked. You have no idea…. You have no idea.

The idea of Kasius having a seer of his own isn’t great news for Coulson and the team, but especially Mack and Yo-Yo. The latter are still aboard the Lighthouse with Flint (Coy Stewart) and the preview for next week’s episode teases the end of everything. If the reveal was shocking to two of the show’s cast members, then it will probably create an equal reaction from fans. S.H.I.E.L.D. has shown an increased willingness to bring back former cast members and that may just be the case here.

If Kasius’ seer is the return of a former cast member, there aren’t many options for them to use. But, this could be the perfect opportunity for the show to bring back Ruth Negga as Raina in a limited capacity. Raina is one of the only other characters from the show that could see the future. As fans of the show likely remember, Raina was killed in season 2 by Daisy Johnson’s mother. While that would normally rule her out (especially given the current setting), the last episode also revealed Kasius has a way to bring people back from the dead. Regardless of whether or not it is Raina, the wait to learn the identity of Kasius’ seer hopefully won’t be that much longer.
