2022 is already a big year for gaming, with titles like Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Elden Ring releasing in the early months. Other big-name games, like God of War Ragnarok and Breath of the Wild 2 originally had 2022 release windows, promising even more highly anticipated releases. Here is every video game release date in 2022 so far.

Due in part to the ongoing pandemic, many AAA titles were pushed into 2022 that were expected to be originally released in 2021 or earlier. This includes both Horizon Forbidden West and Elden Ring, which came out in February after delays. While the spring has a number of games already announced with official release dates, the summer and fall months are more sparse. However, additional games will get announced or given official release dates throughout the year, which is why this article will be updated regularly.

The first half of 2022 has had plenty of big-name games released, but the second half of the year is already promising a lot. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Starfield, and Hogwarts Legacy are just a few of the titles expected for late 2022.
