All American Season 3: 10 Questions We Need Answered

A teenager not looking for a way out had no idea how bad he needed one. Spencer James is a star football player at Crenshaw High but his mother wanted more for him and that meant leaving the old neighborhood behind. Spencer moves to Beverly Hills and his stardom continues to rise.

Season 1 & 2 of All American provided great storylines but what will Season 3 bring? Is Jordan ready to take his relationship to the next level? How close will Spencer and Olivia get? 10 Will Spencer Actually Play at Crenshaw

Grace wanted a better life for her son and that’s the reason she pushed so hard for him to move out to Beverley Hills. Spencer has done well for himself but he’s still torn between his old and new life. South Central runs through his veins and he’s having a hard time trying to be in two places at once.

At the end of Season 2, Spencer made the decision to return to Crenshaw High in efforts to save the school. But will he actually play? He left once and now he’s trying to return.

9 Will Billy Baker and Laura Get Back Together

The relationship between Coach Baker (Taye Diggs) and Laura was as good as it gets in the beginning. But viewers wanted to know if Billy was Spencer’s father? It’s clear that he and Grace had something in the last but both had moved on. Billy came clean to Laura about the affair that happened years ago and that was the beginning to the end of their marriage.

The Baker family went to counseling and when it appeared that Laura had forgiven her husband, she turned around and still asked for a divorce. Can Billy win her back or is this really the end?

8 Will Jordan Be A Father To Simone’s Child

All American has had its ups and downs in terms of strong writing. One of the characters to have gone through a growth spurt personality-wise has been Jordan Baker. The once-party animal and high school stud got a heavy dose of reality in Season 2.

When he was told he was going to be a father, Jordan grew up pretty fast. Simone lied to Jordan about him being the dad but he has continued to be by her side. They have feelings for each other. What will happen between them when she does give birth?

7 What Will Happen With Asher

Asher wanted his spot back so bad that he decided to cheat. While he was indeed wrong, his reasons were well understood. Out of all the teens with issues, Asher has dealt with the most. He’s been abandoned by his mother. His father went through a financial crisis, he’s had an on/off relationship with Olivia, and the list just keeps growing.

Asher needed an escape and football was that, but he cheated and was given a second chance. Does he still have a future after high school in terms of football?

6 What Will Happen To Coop

Coop (Bre-Z, formerly of Empire) made sure that Tyrone went to jail after what he did to Shawn. While she took heat in the neighborhood for being a snitch, Coop rose above it. But then Tyrone was released and he wanted revenge and Coop was his main target. In a turn of events, Tyrone was murdered with Coop being the lead suspect.

As it turns out, it was Shawn’s mother who pulled the trigger. But at the end of Season 3, it was revealed that Tyrone’s sister is now in town and she’s looking for revenge. Is Coop on her radar?

5 Can Layla’s Label Thrive

Layla has always been in awe of her father when it came to his popularity in the music business. While she was never on the level of her songwriting mother, Layla always held her passion for music close. Once she hooked up with Coop, everything began to come together.

When Coop had a chance to sign with Layla’s dad, Coop refused and went with Layla. Now, as her only artist, does Layla have enough of her dad and passion to push an independent label in Los Angeles and beyond?

4 Will There Be A Relationship Between Olivia and Spencer

It’s been growing from the first season. Olivia had a crush on Spencer from the start but fell back because she was viewed as the sister-type. Spencer got with Layla and Olivia started a romance with Asher and all feelings were pushed to the side.

In Season 2, their bond grew a little tighter. Spencer saved Olivia and took a bullet for her. When she was about to spiral in the season finale, it was Spencer who was by her side. How far are the writers willing to take this budding friendship?

3 Will Another Player Leave Beverly Hills For Crenshaw

Spencer found a way to be eligible to play in Beverly Hills due to his moving in with Coach Baker and his family. So, what if a player wants to leave Beverly Hills and play with Spencer rand Coach Baker at Crenshaw High? It’s possible. With Baker now separated from his wife, Jordan can say that he wants to move in with his dad which would give him eligibility to do so.

Although he’s a quarterback and Crenshaw already has two, that doesn’t mean that someone can’t switch positions so each player can get their fair share of playing time.

2 Are Spencer and Layla Done For Good

During the first season, the Spencer and Layla romance was top billing. It’s like watching the back and forth between Archie and Veronica on Riverdale. Layla fell into a dark place and pushed Spencer away. In Season 2, they broke-up but their affection for one another was still evident. What will happen to them in Season 3?

By the looks of things, there could be something brewing between Spencer and Olivia and with Layla now focusing on her music label, that could be the end of any romance with Spencer moving forward.

1 Will The Bond Remain Between Spencer and Darnell

All America took the father/son storyline to new heights in Season 2. With Corey now around, he and Spencer had a chance to form a nice bond. But there was one issue. Corey was already raising a young man out in Nevada named Darnell. The tension was thick between the two young teens but as the season progressed, they became more like brothers.

With Spencer possibly transferring to Crenshaw High, will their bond remain intact? It was one of the best storylines to see them grow in Season 2.
