The latest Minecraft Dungeons DLC, Echoing Void, has finally been released. With it comes new and expanded missions, additional mobs and enemies, an Endermite pet, and two new skins. It also presents players with a few other unique items. Here’s an overview of all the new armor and weapons added to Minecraft Dungeons thanks to the Echoing Void DLC.

Developed in tandem by Mojang Studios and Double Eleven, Minecraft Dungeons is a Minecraft spin-off game that takes the form of a dungeon crawler RPG similar to games like Diablo. Rather than building and exploring an open world, players venture through dungeons in a hack-and-slash manner, collecting treasure and improving gear along the way. While the game was praised upon release for its unique visual style, others criticized the use of procedural generation and its relatively simple gameplay. Fortunately, Minecraft Dungeons‘ developers have taken steps to expand and improve its existing features as well as introduce new areas to explore through the release of DLC packs.

The Echoing Void DLC was announced earlier in July 2021 and serves as the fourth and final expansion to Minecraft Dungeons‘ current Season Pass, as well as the conclusion to its ongoing story. It’s the sixth expansion released for the game thus far, not counting the various free updates and improvements that Mojang Studios has provided. One such update was released in tandem with Echoing Void: the Gauntlet of Gales is a free maze-like mission that presents players with the chance to find artifacts previously only available through the Howling Peaks DLC. It also includes new enchantments such as Ambush and Void Strike, and extended a few returning enchantments to other weapon types. For example, Fire Aspect and Looting can now apply to ranged weapons.

The new weapons added with Minecraft‘s Echoing Void DLC are:

  • Veiled Crossbow (Ranged Unique)
  • Obsidian Claymore (Melee)
  • The Starless Night (Melee Unique)
  • Void Touched Blades (Melee)
  • The Beginning and The End (Melee Unique)

New Armor In Minecraft Dungeons’ Echoing Void DLC

The new armor pieces added with Minecraft‘s Echoing Void DLC are:

  • Entertainer’s Garb
  • The Troubadour (Unique)
  • Shulker Armor
  • Sturdy Shulker Armor (Unique)
  • Teleportation Robes
  • Unstable Robes (Unique)

The game’s latest patch went live on July 28, as did its most recent DLC, which is available for purchase on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. It’s worth noting that Minecraft Dungeons features crossplay support across all of these consoles, as well.
