Katy Perry has had an illustrious career in music that now spans two decades. After breaking out with the smash hit “I Kissed A Girl” off of her 2008 album One Of The Boys, Katy has been a bona fide hitmaker with several #1 songs on the Billboard charts. After “I Kissed A Girl”, Katy’s other chart-topping singles included “California Gurls”, “Teenage Dream”, “Firework”, “E.T.”, “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)”, “Part Of Me”, “Roar”, and “Dark Horse”.

When ABC rebooted American Idol after the series’ years-long run on Fox, the network decided to bring on Katy Perry as one of the judges. She was paired up with soul/R&B legend Lionel Richie and country superstar Luke Bryan – a very successful combination that is still in effect to this day. Outside of the show, Katy’s personal life has also been thriving. She started dating The Lord of The Rings actor Orlando Bloom in 2016, and the couple got engaged in 2019. As of 2021, a pregnant Katy is expecting her first child with fiancé Orlando.

The fans seem to love Katy Perry as a judge on American Idol, and season 19 has been very special given that Katy is starring on the show while being very far into her pregnancy. According to Hello!, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom live in a mansion in Montecito, California that is valued at $14.2 million. This has been the couple’s chosen home to welcome their child in 2021. Katy’s home spans 7,167 square feet and includes six bedrooms, 12 bathrooms. Altogether, the property sits on nine acres of land and overlooks the Pacific Ocean.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have built a very solid relationship over the years, so it isn’t at all surprising that they’ve also picked the perfect place to welcome their first child. Their home was built in 1934, but it has since been renovated entirely by Katy and Orlando. The house’s amenities include a conference room, an office, a private patio, and a full-size dressing room. Outside of the main house, Katy and Orlando’s property also includes a massive four-garage garage, a tennis court, a guesthouse, and a pool house.

It’s no wonder that Katy Perry has been able to host so many live-streams, interviews, and even digital performances right from her home or backyard. With a property this huge, Katy has plenty of space to be a pop star, a media personality, a businesswoman, and very soon, a mother as well.
