An enthusiastic Among Us fan has shared a weird engagement ring container in the form of a dead crewmate from the game, hoping to surprise his partner with a gaming-themed proposal. It is sometimes frightening how far players can go to express their passion for video games.

Another huge fan of the deduction game Among Us entered an official Canadian snow carving competition with an idea to create a few scenes from the game. Not only the player eventually carved two absolutely stunning snow sculptures inspired by Among Us but also won the competition against many other professional contenders. The attention to detail in his creations was simply amazing. There was a cheeky Impostor hiding in the vent after a successful kill, a crewmate’s halved corpse with a bone sticking out of it, and even an upset mini crewmate sitting beside his fallen comrade.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

On Reddit, an enamored user Memo-701, who also happens to be a huge Among Us fan, shared a weird engagement ring container, which he was about to surprise the love of his life with. The container looks like a green Among Us crewmate, which can be opened in half revealing a famous bone sticking out of the lower part of the character’s body. On the bone, there’s a beautiful ring waiting to be put on a finger. Some users have expressed their doubt over the chosen style of the proposal, stating that the OP’s partner also needs to be a huge Among Us fan to say yes when receiving such a weirdly designed ring container. Others have pointed out that the author would’ve hardly made the decision to put the piece of jewelry inside the corpse of a dead crewmate if he wasn’t confident that it would work.

A more appealing Among Us-inspired concept has been recently shared by another fan of the famous title. The immensely popular social deduction game was turned into a tabletop project based on the original map called Skeld. There are figurines of crewmates and Impostors accompanied by several types of cards to reflect various actions that can be taken during the process of playing the board game. Sadly, as a fan concept, the creation doesn’t have solid rules, but it can definitely turn into a proper tabletop game with additional time and effort.

Despite all the doubts and humorous remarks, Memo-701’s example clearly shows that video games can inspire people to do beautiful things. The Among Us-based engagement ring container is much more than just another fan creation. It is proof that a passion for a person and a passion for a game can coexist favorably for all the parties involved. Here’s hoping that the partner said yes.
