Among Us: Impostor Dog Looks Just Like A Crewmate

A user on Twitter has shared a picture of a dog who looks identical to a character from Among Us. The popular online multiplayer title has been in the news quite a bit lately, as its recent entrance to the Nintendo Switch has only increased its popularity. In fact, there’s even a new map making its way to the game in the form of The Airship. Players found clever ways to glitch themselves into The Airship exclusively on the Nintendo Switch version to get a sneak peek.

Among Us has also seen recent developments in terms of fan mods and projects. For instance, one fan created a new role and costume, known as the Sheriff mod. Another fan created Among Us within Minecraft, using the The Skeld as inspiration to create its block-based counterpart. Related to the Sheriff mod, one fan created another role known as the Doctor. These fan-made roles add interesting and dynamic new components to the core strategic gameplay.

Twitter user @shiki_ads posted a picture of a dog who looks exactly like an Among Us character, and user @king_of_limb made a video to edit the dog into Among Us. @king_of_limb edited the dog into the cafeteria from The Skeld, and they even edited the dog’s appearance in a second Tweet with some Supreme-esque clothing, featuring the caption “he got the drip too.” In the initial video, the camera zooms in on the dog, suggesting that they actually may be the feared impostor.

Crewmate or impostor, this dog bears a truly uncanny resemblance to the Among Us characters. From the shoulder width to the extraordinarily round head, this adorable dog fits right in to the Among Us universe. However, if this dog were an impostor, it admittedly stands out a bit from the other characters. There’s something about the fur that feels somewhat “sus.”

InnerSloth, the game’s publisher, hasn’t exactly added new characters aside from the colorful, anthropomorphic creatures. Perhaps the company can draw some inspiration from this dog. Who says a dog could be restricted to merely “pet” status? Maybe this dog deserves to play a full-fledged role as a crewmate or an impostor. With that being said, it really is astonishing how much this cute dog looks like an Among Us character, and major props are due to @king_of_limb for giving fans what they want. If they didn’t make that video, then it is likely fans would have clamored to see what this dog would look like in the game.
