Five Amusement Park Ideas for Animal Crossing: New Horizons

1 – The Island Fair

This design is a simple and easy one. Set up booths with small games and prizes. Offer cotton candy stalls, popcorn machines, and a few rides. A Ferris wheel or the teacup rides make great options, and the various stand designs player can affect the mood of the fair. Throw in cardboard cutouts, fishtanks, vending machines, and ice cream cones to add a little flair.

2 – The Carnival Isle

Somewhat similar to the island fair, this option also would do well with booths with games and prizes. Instead of rides being the focus, have animals and candy be the focus. Although players won’t be able to have live dinosaurs wandering the island, visitors and prospective residents will wonder.

4 – Island Renaissance Festival

For a more fantasy-based theme, a renaissance festival could be a great option. Dress up the residents in masks, ball gowns, corsets, and armor. Booths with fantasy-based trinkets, games, and food can all make great additions. Selling swords, setting up a jousting ring, and adding magical booths and decor will help the concept come together.

5 – Water World Isle

The island can also be turned into a water park. Although there aren’t water slides that can be made in the game, players can set up their artificial ponds, beaches, and pools with ice cream stands and beach themed decor. Adding surfboard standees, bathing suit displays, fish tanks, diving boards, lighthouses, and playground slides into the water can add to this feeling. This can also be turned into a pirate-themed water park by adding the summer released pirate items. All of these options are great starting points to be customized further by the player in their way or somewhat mixed. With how much creative freedom is given to the player in the game there are endless possibilities with how much the player can customize with their island. Whether an amusement park is only in select areas of the island or the entirety of it can also make a big difference.
