The spring and fall fishing season in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is bound to be a big one, and players can reel in some extremely rare and valuable catches. With the start of a new month, Animal Crossing fans can expect some new critters to appear on and around their islands, including new fish they will need to search the waters to find.

There are currently 80 species of fish available in the entire Animal Crossing: New Horizons game. Of those, 37 can be caught in November in the Northern hemisphere, and 44 can be caught in November in the Southern hemisphere. There are five new options coming to the River and Sea in the Northern hemisphere, and eight coming to nearly every available fishing spot in the Southern hemisphere. Players can earn a decent amount of bells from finding and selling these creatures, or they can make a donation to Blathers at the Museum to complete their collections. Here is every fish coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in November.

Every New Fish Coming to the Northern Hemisphere in November in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Of the five new fish coming to the Northern hemisphere in November, all but one can be caught in the sea. Two fish, the Tuna and the Blue Marlin, can only be caught off the Pier, so players will want to stop by with some bait and try to reel in these larger, rarer options. Players will also want to plan a few nighttime fishing sessions to catch everything on the list. The fish coming in November are:

  • Bitterling: Tiny; River; Active All Day; Worth 900 bells
  • Blowfish: Medium-small; Sea; Active 9 p.m. until 4 a.m.; Worth 5,000 bells
  • Tuna: Huge; Pier; Active All Day; Worth 7,000 bells
  • Blue Marlin: Huge; Pier; Active All Day; Worth 10,000 bells
  • Football Fish: Medium-large; Sea; Active 4 p.m. to 9 a.m.; Worth 2,500 bells

Like always, players can wait until CJ arrives to the island to sell any extra fish they have caught for 30% more bells than they would get from Nook’s Cranny.

With spring fully underway, players in the Southern hemisphere can expect to find more fish in all the bodies of water around their islands. The two fairly rare incoming ocean fish can only be found off the Pier so, like the players in the Northern hemisphere, players in the Southern hemisphere should plan to craft some fish bait and head to this location for a little while each day. The fish coming to the Southern hemisphere on November 1 are:

  • Frog: Small; Pond; Active All Day; Worth 120 bells
  • Catfish: Medium-large; Pond; Active 4 p.m. to 9 a.m.; Worth 800 bells
  • Angelfish: Small; River; Active 4 p.m. to 9 a.m.; Worth 3,000 bells
  • Nibble Fish: Tiny; River; Active 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Worth 1,500 bells
  • Betta: Small; River; Active 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Worth 2,500 bells
  • Rainbowfish: Tiny; River; Active 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Worth 800 bells
  • Giant Trevally: Large; Pier; Active All Day; Worth 4,500 bells
  • Mahi-Mahi: Large; Pier; Active All Day; Worth 6,000 bells

Players can wait to sell their fish to CJ when he comes to the island for 30% more bells.
