Now, using the tools available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, one player has brought one of Spider-Man’s most spectacular scenes to life.

Reddit user gogetahaircut recently shared an amazing Animal Crossing: New Horizons build that pays homage to Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man. The project recreates the film’s wrestling scene, which sees Peter Parker enter a brutal cage match against the boisterous Bonesaw. “Macho Man” Randy Savage’s portrayal of Bonesaw, and the witty banter dished out by Tobey Maguire, makes the scene a particularly memorable moment from Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy. The Animal Crossing build brings it to life flawlessly, with Maguire’s Human Spider attire perfectly captured within the digital ring.

Using a large selection of tools, Animal Crossing: New Horizons players are able to recreate scenes from many different films and shows. For example, one Animal Crossing video referencing Twin Peaks reminds viewers that nothing is truly as it seems. David Lynch’s mysterious horror-drama series has been confounding viewers for years by slowly unraveling the supernatural circumstances surrounding Laura Palmer’s murder. The fan-made Animal Crossing video references an ominous line from Twin Peaks, with The Giant warning protagonist Dale Cooper that “the owls are not what they seem.“

Peter Parker introducing himself as the Human Spider and going toe-to-toe with Bonesaw is one of the most iconic scenes in Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy. By expertly recreating Tobey Maguire’s attire in this scene, gogetahaircut brings up nostalgic memories of Hollywood’s first wall-crawling Marvel icon. Bonesaw himself is not present, but gogetahaircut probably missed the part where that’s their problem.
