One of the most fun and rewarding components of Animal Crossing: New Horizons is forming relationships with the game’s many villagers. There are 397 villagers availableand each one of them has their own house design. Although there are eight different personality categories in ACNH, each villager has interests, styles, and aesthetics that make them special on their own. Nowhere in Animal Crossing can villagers showcase their individuality more than in their house’s interior design.

Every home exterior and interior in ACNH is unique to its villager. However, the interior of the same villager’s home can look different from other iterations depending on the island. For example, the first five villagers that move to each New Horizons island will have default home interiors that reflect their general personality type. Items that are gifted to the villager throughout Animal Crossing will also be displayed in their home. Home interiors are continually evolving as villagers redecorate day-to-day.

Although it is interesting to visit villagers’ homes in ACNH to see how they live their personal lives, the houses themselves are full of details about the villagers. New Horizons’ homes draw inspiration from a villager’s appearance, personality type, hobbies, and preferences, making each house a new experience. These Animal Crossing villagers’ interiors are some of the cutest ones in the game.

ACNH Villager Marshal’s Cute New Horizons House Interior

Marshal has long been an ACNH favorite villager due to his marshmallow-like design and sassy demeanor. However, this smug squirrel villager’s interior might just be as cute as he is. Marshal’s New Horizons home is a private café. Several iron items are utilized to create a cozy environment to enjoy a morning coffee or an afternoon tea. The blue delicate-blooms wallpaper pairs perfectly with the dark wood used throughout the design. Additionally, there is an upright piano in the northwest corner, which Marshal is sure to enjoy since he has the music hobby.

Animal Crossing Villager Aurora’s Cute New Horizons House Interior

Aurora has been in every Animal Crossing series game so far, and her house’s interior has changed drastically since its first appearance. In New Horizons, she has settled on a frozen theme for her interior with a few Zodiac conversation pieces. Of course, an ice palace is perfect for Aurora as a normal penguin villager. However, the astrological items are more personal to her as an individual. Aurora’s name is likely a reference to the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights. The urns are the perfect touch since her birthday falls during the Aquarius season on January 27.

Animal Crossing Villager Celia’s Cute New Horizons House Interior

Celia is a normal eagle villager in ACNH. She has the nature hobby, which is evident from the botanical wallpaper, plants, and lily record player. There are several items from the rattan furniture collection in her house as well, such as the bed, vanity, wardrobe, and tables.

Celia’s house is mostly white, but there are pops of green throughout its design, mirroring her own feathers. Taken altogether, Celia’s home is clean, natural, and one of the most charming villager interiors in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Villager Frita’s Cute ACNH House Interior

Frita has a hamburger-like head and wool that resembles a side of fries, making her own design quite cute. Naturally, the inside of Frita’s ACNH home has snacks and drinks available at the ready. This sisterly sheep villager’s house is a time machine to a classic 1950s diner. The interior is decorated with a pink diner wall and floral flooring. There are diner furniture items throughout the house, including the colorful neon sign and jukebox. Frita has had houses with fast-food themes in prior Animal Crossing entries, but the 1950s aesthetics make this version special.

Villager Drago’s Cute Animal Crossing: New Horizons House Interior

Drago has several characteristics of a dragon, so it is no surprise that his house’s interior and exterior both have Eastern-style influences. However, it is Drago’s ACNH interior that makes his home so unique. Almost all of the furniture items are from the imperial collection, with red and black as the primary color scheme. The symmetry between the two Animal Crossing cherry-blossom branches, chests, and dining lanterns set the perfect stage for Drago’s dining table, where he surely eats often as a lazy villager.

There are various modes of transportation represented in his interior such as a rocket, a race-car, planes, and boats. The bookshelf, stereo, and bench from the vivid wooden-block set elevate the kidcore aesthetic further. Axel’s bright house is the perfect place to cheer up players who may be feeling a little blue.

Villager Maddie’s Cute Animal Crossing: New Horizons House Interior

Maddie’s ACNH villager house brings the great outdoors inside. The meadow-themed wallpaper and flooring create relaxing, scenic vistas to enjoy. There is a charming picnic laid out for visitors complete with a soup kettle, picnic sets, and drink coolers. Perhaps due to her play hobby, this peppy dog villager has a board game set up and a mountain bike ready by the door. Maddie’s New Horizons home is the perfect place to hide away and spend some time with friends.

Villager Doc’s Cute New Horizons House Interior

Doc’s education hobby is on full display in his Animal Crossing home design. There are bookshelves lining the interior with a large den desk and chair set on the west wall. This lazy rabbit villager clearly enjoys learning about science, and perhaps conducting experiments, with his lab set and skeleton. In fact, ACNH’s Doc is so devoted to his studies that he even has a periodic table study poster in his bathroom area. This home is surely the cutest study spot on any island.

Villager Pietro’s Cute Animal Crossing: New Horizons House Interior

Pietro is a smug sheep villager from ACNH. His design strongly resembles a colorful clown, so it is not surprising that his house’s interior is quite exciting as well. The sky wall, cloud flooring, and yellow crescent-moon chairs create the illusion that his house is high above the island. Going right along with Pietro’s carnivalesque aesthetic, there are two colorful wheels and a cotton candy stall. All of these items come together to create an eccentric, but adorable, abode. All of these house interior designs celebrate what makes its Animal Crossing: New Horizon villager unique to the game.
