The best way to find a rose in animal crossing is to buy one from Nook and Cranny or Leif’s Garden Shop. While Roses do grow naturally on the island during certain parts of the year, players can easily buy seeds for 240 bells per bag or 1200 bells for a 5-bag bulk.

When it comes to breeding, players will want to play around with different color combinations until they make the color roses they’re looking for. As mentioned, players can find yellow roses, red roses, and white roses growing naturally on their island. Having a ladder in their inventory will make it easier to navigate up to higher levels of the island to harvest those roses. 

Perhaps players have become the Animal Crossing rose kingpin, they can trade those valuable flowers to other players online who may not be having as much luck.

  • Golden Rose: Black Rose + Black Rose (Watered w/ Golden Watering Can) 
  • Black Rose: Red Rose + Red Rose
  • Blue Rose: Red Rose + Red Rose (Red Roses bred by combining Purple and Orange)
  • Red Rose: Purple Rose + Orange Rose
  • Purple Rose: White Rose + White Rose
  • Orange Rose: Red Rose + Yellow Rose
  • Pink Rose: Red Rose + White Rose
