Apex Legends’ ranked mode has long been a crucial part of the game, but some players believe that it has degraded enough to become even worse than League of Legends’ ranked. Additionally, Apex Legends has lately suffered from a weird issue that caused players to lose all their recent progress after logging out.

In the middle of August, Apex Legends players started reporting on losing in-game progress after both casual and ranked matches. The annoying glitch caused all the earned progress to disappear be it regular XP, achievements, or even the precious RP. Some players reported that the issue could repeat itself multiple times. Weirdly, one gamer shared a functional workaround. All that was needed was to keep tracking and saving the in-game progress was to equip one of the Battle Pass skins, which somehow fixed the issue. EA and Respawn responded to reports by saying they were aware of the glitch and were looking into solutions.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

A few days ago (as reported by Dexerto), popular Twitch streamer Dellor went on an emotional rant on how awful and unplayable the ranked mode in Apex Legends is. During a livestream, the player became angry after missing literally all their shots with a Wingman in a close-quarters firefight. Immediately after that, one of the viewers mockingly commented on Dellor’s performance in chat, congratulating the streamer on “nice shots.” This seemingly harmless remark resulted in Dellor swearing at the viewer and asking moderators to ban the poor person permanently. Shortly after, the streamer said that Apex Legends was not enjoyable and went as far as stating that the solo queue in the game’s ranked mode was worse than the one in League of Legends.

Despite the inconsistency in Apex Legends’ experience for some players and streamers, the game is confidently evolving over time. New content is always welcomed by fans, and according to one of the recent rumors, Apex Legends Season 11 might introduce a brand new map to the battle royale hit title. Judging by the discovery made by inquisitive dataminers, the next playable area in Apex Legends could be set on a tropical island located on the planet Gaea.

Although ranked experience in Apex Legends might be frustrating, it’s hard to believe that it is near the toxic atmosphere of League of Legends. The latter game is notoriously known for queueing players up with trolls and generally toxic gamers, which doesn’t happen that often in Apex Legends, especially in the ranked mode. Dellor’s emotional reaction was more likely due to his frustration at underperforming.

Apex Legends is available on all platforms.
