Amid mixed reports surrounding Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s marital woes, there are some who are speculating if this was all just a publicity stunt. Sources have released multiple conflicting reports on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star’s alleged looming divorce with the rap/fashion mogul. Here’s why the details are leading to confusion from fans.

Earlier this week, Page Six released a shocking report that included comments from multiple inside sources with information on the alleged end of Kim and Kanye’s seven-year marriage. According to the insider claims, “divorce is imminent” for the pair, as the two superstars allegedly grew tired of each other’s lifestyle choices. The news came one week after another report claimed Kanye was taking “space” away from his wife with “no plans” to return to Los Angeles where she lives with their four children. But this week, insiders claimed the couple was taking steps toward separation. “They are keeping it low-key but they are done,” an insider claimed. “Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.”

But, at the same time the Page Six report was released, another announcement was made on TMZ that said the superstar couple were in marriage counseling and trying to make things work before deciding on a divorce or not. The outlet claimed that the KKW Beauty founder had been considering divorcing Kanye for much of 2020, but ruled against it due to a serious bipolar episode he had that she supported him through. Additionally, the report confirmed the news that the couple has been living separately for some time now. With Kanye staying at his mega ranch in Wyoming while Kim and their children live in their Calabasas home. It’s also acknowledged that they have different lifestyles and political views, with Kanye having run for President as an Independent after years of public meetings with Donald Trump. Kanye reportedly gave Kim five Maybach cars worth $200k a pop, while Kim reportedly gave Kanye $1 million worth of artwork. Some find it odd that the two would drop so much bank just one week before allegedly calling it quits. Hopefully, they are in marriage counseling working out their differences.
