Bachelor: Brittany Galvin’s Ex Buddy Claims He Was Used For $15K Trip – Report

The Bachelor‘s Brittany Galvin fought to clear her name after being accused of being an escort on national TV. Now, an old friend is trying to drag her name back through the mud with his recent claims that she manipulated him into paying for a $15,000 vacation.

Chicago local Brittany Galvin was one of five women to join The Bachelor four weeks after most of the women did. The original women, who MJ Snyder coined “the OGs,” didn’t take too kindly to their new competition. Anna Redman, who also hails from Chicago, claimed to recognize Brittany. She said people had “warned her” about Brittany and told her that she was an escort servicing wealthy men in Chicago. After the damaging rumor spread throughout the house, Katie Thurston took it upon herself to tell Matt James about the accusation. Brittany denied being an escort to Anna and Matt, and Anna was promptly sent home before the rose ceremony began.

There is now a new rumor going around about Brittany, this time from an old “friend.” The friend spoke to The Sun but asked to stay anonymous. He claimed that he invited Brittany on a trip to Dubai and South Africa in December of 2020. Brittany told him she couldn’t afford the trip, so he offered to pay for it. He told The Sun, “It cost between $13K-$15K. She wanted to get out of Chicago and couldn’t afford to go there on her own. I would 100% say I was manipulated into going on the trip with her.” He didn’t say exactly how he was manipulated, but did claim that there were plans for the two of them to hook up during the trip, but that it did not end up happening.

The source continued to allege that Brittany “ditched him” in Dubai once she met up with some of her friends. He then said Brittany tried to cast him “as some crazy person, perhaps to deflect from the nature of her trip and how she had taken advantage of me.” The pair is no longer talking after the source “had to block her number.” In response to the rumors on The Bachelor of Brittany being an escort, the burned friend told The Sun, “I still wouldn’t necessarily call her an actual escort. But she’s definitely a pretty girl who knows it and uses it to manipulate others to get what she wants and doesn’t care what that does to other people or how it makes them look.” Brittany’s reps did not respond to The Sun’s request to comment on the allegations.

Brittany is probably frustrated that this friend spoke up right as the episode centered on her rumored escorting aired. However, to the outside observer, it sounds like Brittany was offered a free trip from a friend who expected to have sex with her and who got upset when that didn’t happen. At least she got some good Instagram pics out of the whole ordeal.
