The Bachelor star Colton Underwood has bought a million-dollar home with his boyfriend. Six months after revealing his sexuality to the world, Colton starred in the Netflix program Coming Out Colton. The six-episode unscripted series follows Colton as he explores the LGBTQ community and comes to grips with who he is; several episodes feature Colton meeting with current and former athletes as they join the discourse with their stories. Although ratings have been mixed about the docuseries since its airing, Colton is undeniably one of the most well-known Bachelor Nation stars around.

A lot has happened to ex-football player Colton Underwood since signing up for the 14th season of The Bachelorette. When Colton competed for Becca Kufrin’s heart in 2018, he finished in fourth place. He was generally well-received by viewers, although Colton and Wendy Williams argued online after an episode featured Colton disclosing his virginity to Kufrin. The year after The Bachelorette, Colton appeared briefly on Bachelor in Paradise before being announced as The Bachelor’s 23rd lead. Ending the series with Cassie Randolph—minus a proposal—the two dated until 2020. The relationship ultimately ended poorly, with Cassie filing a restraining order on her ex-boyfriend. Shocking to some but unsurprising to others, Colton announced he was gay in April 2021; by September, rumors began to swirl that he was seeing democratic political strategist Jordan Brown.

Fast forward to one month after confirming their relationship, and Colton Underwood and Jordan have made their first big purchase. With a closing date of December 29th, The New York Post reported that the couple paid a staggering $3.185 million for their new residence. The four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom residence was originally built in 1975 and has had plenty of occupants over the past 50 years—one being singer Jessica Simpson. In 2006, according to the New York Post, Simpson’s parents bought the property for $2.1 million before selling it in late 2020. While many LA houses cost more than a couple of million, the cost is high especially when you consider how much Bachelor Nation stars usually make.

Photos of the house obtained by the New York Post show the 3,300 square foot place as clean and modern, with sleek white walls and beige furniture. The home, which is advertised with accented colors, includes several upgraded amenities such as a huge suite and a large kitchen area. Uploading a photo of himself living out an introvert’s dream Friday night, Colton struck a pose while eating pizza. Fans easily spotted the “good carbs, great wine, & a happy life” his caption indicated, but also had one question. One user asked it best: “Where is your furniture? 😂😂.” Looking at Colton’s photo with Jordan on Christmas, it seems that the two are not in the same place they were then.

Besides being able to catch Colton Underwood on Netflix, Bachelor Nation fans have more to look forward to. Season 26 of The Bachelor premiered on January 3, with Clayton Echard looking for the perfect woman. Season 18 of The Bachelorette, on the other hand, just ended at the end of December; Michelle Young accepted Nayte Olukoya’s proposal. With Colton and Jordan looking loved up in several photos together, supporters of the two are interested to see their relationship develop.
